The Bosch Smartphone grip converts your smartphone into a display for your Bosch SmartSystem eBike

Do you know if this can be fitted to a gen 4 Trek bike with mini remote ? As I can't see how it could be done, given that the control unit is now located on the downtube ?

Is it Bosch Smart System? If so then yes, but it not using Kiox you’d also need the retro fit mount kit.

Yes it is the smart system. Does that mean the retro kit connects via the motor as mini remote has no output

Yes it can. As well as the smart phone grip you'd also need the retro kit to mount the grip and cables to connect the kit to the system controller. Due to internal routing it's best to leave fitting the kit to your local Bosch dealer @@JoeMurphysGuitarlessons

Hi, did you experience any problems with the grip and the iPhone buttons layout? Were the buttons pressed while in the grip?

The grip has ridges so buttons should be ok. We’ve sold about 50 units and not had any comments from users so should be ok.

I am grip user and yes, buttons in my samsung accidentally are being pressed (i.e. screen off) when I put smartphone to grip, then I activate screen by touching screen

Does this fit on kiox 500 display?

Yes it does. The grip will fit on the Kiox 500, Kiox 300 or retrofit mount
