Anybody else notice that Britt Baker is probably the only one that completes his/her promo without snatching away the mic from Tony Schiavone and not burying him, and so it actually looks great.

Britt is doing so much better in her promos pausing and letting the crowd chant DMD. She’s a role model. It only in wrestling, but also in dentistry!
Britt is learning from the old guys, guys that respected this business, and still treat it as real.
This is why I love AEW. Every city and every match is different. Some cities want to cheer the heels and boo the faces, some it’s opposite. Letting their characters take advantage of their “home fields” so to speak (their home cities) is just smart. Take this segment for example, Britt comes off as an absolutely massive star, as she should!

Im happy AEW doesnt do full faces or heels for everyone. I much prefer her as who she is now vs a normal baby face. The only time bookers should be concerned is if a baby face is getting booed.

@michael morley Because wrestler morality doesn't always have to be typical black and white color conflicts, some people drift in-between various shade of grey. And people have occasionally taken a liking to heel characters when they're done well as seen with guys like Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, The Rock, Stone Cold, etc where you don't care if you're supposed to boo them because they're just too likable.
She trained him to be obedient early with a bit of abuse.

@@MikeS-sc3xl She's the 5 tool promo, she knows exactly where the camera is, knows the exact notes to hit and when to hit them. She puts herself over her opponent but still leaves enough to make you think she's still going to give her a match.

Britt Baker has improved a lot since last year.
In a backwards way, that leg injury last year and covid have been the best thing thay happened to her career. It gave her over a year to build up her character without the pressures of live crowds.

AEW heels are so good you can't help but smile and cheer at times. Like, that entrance was hella lit, even if it was a homecoming. Doesn't change the fact that us as fans felt her energy. Respect 💯

Full of that energy you look for in a feud and Kris with the whole alien thing and the boop she does and her upside down rope thing makes them strong characters for me. Thunder Rosa I feel is more of the pure wrestler type and thats cool too. Yes she does have the music and the face paint and the great Wrestling ability but I haven't seen that oomph with context yet if you get me. I Seen her training videos and stuff a year ago too and she knows her stuff for sure as a great pure Wrestler.

I can say this DR BRITT BAKER DMD Is super legit and she is beyond super real. She is going to elevate the women’s division like no other and she even said in public places that she’d like to wrestle Sasha Banks or Bayley cause she admire their talents. When she won the title from Shias at Double or Nothing, she was determined to win the title and she got a tremendous pop and she got a hug from Tony Schiavone who happens to be her best friend and Tony Khan for an outstanding match and performance on her part. She is a wrestler who isn’t afraid of anyone or speak her mind. I love her promos and she isn’t boring at all.
