I will still remember the time i was in a music store and was improvising on the piano and i started playing the Spain riff and then someone else in the store actually responded by playing the second part of the riff, i was so surprised and we continued to improvise on the song!
These guys must spend half their lives high on music. What talent! To have such music in your soul and the physical talent to express it. Must be a real thrill to make the instruments for musicians of this caliber as well.

I think it's a great concept, but a lot of the demo videos are oddball artists doing oddball conceptual music. Now that I've seen this video I can totally see Chick and lots of other keyboard players saying "WOW - got to get me one!" He's among the most creative and open-minded musicians out there in my opinion - would be a great endorsement if they can catch him playing one. You guys are obviously very talented yourselves - great job!
Jordan Rudess, the virtuoso keyboardist of Dream Theatre, is a great advocate of new and novel instruments and he has videos on youtube playing the seaboard!
Corey Henry is working his way to the top of the jazz ladder in my opinion. He plays with Snarky Puppy which is easily one of my favorite jazz bands touring right now. If you haven't heard of them and you like jazz, check them out. Family Dinner volume 1 and 2 are stellar. I love all their stuff though.
Every time I see a video of this thing, I get the feeling that is is more entertaining for the player than the listener. This totally reminds me of the beginning days of MIDI.

@@supyalld638 nah really. Having no keys to press down upon takes some time getting use to, as you have to align your fingers perfectly on the center of the keys or else it's out of tune.
I love the Roli Seaboard and want one.. OK! So don't get me wrong but, I can see that for keyboard players who have dreamt of a keyboard that could bend everything and anything to your hearts desire that you don't go overboard on the Seaboard bending everything and anything until it becomes over kill. I would be the same at first I'm sure. But I DO love it.
I have never played one of these so the big question is: is it possible to play STRAIGHT NOTES on this WITHOUT any bending? If it can also do that, awesome. Otherwise I may need to take a couple Pepto-Bismol before playing 😉

It's basically piano... nothing to get hyped about ... it takes seconds to get used to it
