It was a bright sunny day here in Pennsylvania. JOHN was the best man in my wedding and I was in his. He was a quiet man, spoke softly but people listened to him. Great Father, Grand Father Husband would have been 51 years this July for he and his wife. He was the type of guy who was always there 24/7 For his friends and family. He would also never shy away from helping strangers either. The Good Lord took a good man too early. RIP My True BEST FRIEND we all will look after your family. The song is one that I listened to and dedicated to the loss of my best friend, my childhood dog of 15 years. It's now going on 30 years that he's been gone. I still cry each time I listen to it or hear it on the radio. This week unfortunately my youngest son's (25 yrs old) dog of 13 years has to be put to sleep. I lost track of a good number of my childhood friends,i suppose that’s normal, interests change,we move on geographically, work demands, relationships,it goes on and on. I’ve lived more than half my life outside my home country (Australia) managed to keep it touch with some of my best friends but I’m shocked by how many are no longer with us. At 66 years of age, my advice is to keep and treasure the friends you have,nothing in life is certain,,,,we never know how long we have,never miss an opportunity to tell your friends how much you love and appreciate them. I love this song because back in December of 1990, it reminds me of mother when she was terminally sick of cancer and the day mom refused chemotherapy and she passed away 9 days later, miss her! I always cried to this day from the day of her death.

Great Father, Grand Father Husband would have been 51 years this July for he and his wife. He was the type of guy who was always there 24/7 For his friends and family. The song is one that I listened to and dedicated to the loss of my best friend, my childhood dog of 15 years. It's now going on 30 years that he's been gone. I still cry each time I listen to it or hear it on the radio. This week unfortunately my youngest son's (25 yrs old) dog of 13 years has to be put to sleep. I will be using the same song to be dedicating it to the two of their friendship. There is no other song out there close to this one that tells the bond like a best friend!

My great grandmother died a month ago. Whenever I hear this song I remember her, how he take care of me since when I was a little boy. Now that she's gone I will always remember her, my only one friend.

I lost track of a good number of my childhood friends,i suppose that’s normal, interests change,we move on geographically, work demands, relationships,it goes on and on. I’ve lived more than half my life outside my home country (Australia) managed to keep it touch with some of my best friends but I’m shocked by how many are no longer with us. At 66 years of age, my advice is to keep and treasure the friends you have,nothing in life is certain,,,,we never know how long we have,never miss an opportunity to tell your friends how much you love and appreciate them.
