Hello Friends!! I hope you enjoyed today’s video! My goal was to use a minimal amount of supplies to create cute home decor on a budget (even repurposing some items you would typically throw away!). Which project was your favorite?

Ahhh Drew I love this idea! Please do more DIYs with “trash”. Like old spice containers, wine bottles, old holey clothing, etc. not to sound all hippy dippy or whatever but our generation really needs to learn to minimize their waste and reduce their carbon footprint. Not only does it feel good to reduce and reuse, we get to help the world as best we can, ya know? Much love 💕✨

As a confirmed plant killer (and with two cats that are faux plant hunters) I’ve been struggling with ways to bring greenery - or at least the vibe - into my house. Those cardboard cactuses look amazing and are going right onto my diy list. Of course, all of these ideas are amazing (as usual) - the macrame cord is such a great idea, the embroidery was adorable and the blanket was so beautiful!

Always a class act and true king - my favorite wine is generally one from the display closest to the register (hopefully a chilled Pinot Grigio) that’ll get me out the door, drunk at home on the couch, and posting on social media in an alcohol-induced frenzy the quickest. It's important during this time for people to be able to get fresh air and some sunshine, if at all possible. I am fortunate to not live in a really BIG city, my neighborhood isn't crowded at all I can be outside working in my front yard for a couple hours a day since the weather is slowly improving here and see maybe 2 people walk by the house. I also have a fully fenced private back yard so once the weather gets nicer I can be outside, which helps cure that "cabin fever." I can't imagine living in New York city, that has to be really hard practicing physical distancing in such a large city with population density. Wherever you (all of you) are, please be mindful of staying as safe as you can and following directions to keep the coronavirus at bay. We'll get through this however long it takes if we respect and take care of each other. Videos like yours keep us grounded! BTW, loved the cardboard cacti!
The cacti are perfect for a child’s room! They’re quirky and no little ones have to worry about pricking themselves on actual cacti. Plus they can help with the painting and cutting. Sounds like a good craft idea for these days.

what I love about so many of your ideas is that you can really change them to fit your style. like that rainbow project - the idea of using macrame cord to get that 3D effect is so smart - and you could really do any design!

LOVE that you are using cardboard food boxes for crafting supplies. I have an entire drawer full of such pieces that I use all the time. Step saving suggestion for painting the printed sides of the boxes: use TWO pieces, glued 'front to front' so you have the blank part on both sides. Bonus: Better durability for your projects!
I am on day 21 inside, so yes please more household up-cycle videos! I was actually crocheting as you pulled out your crochet hook, so I would love to see you crochet terrarium or something similar :) And that is likely the only kind of cactus I could keep alive... maybe.
I loved these! I am getting ready to move and am restarting from scratch so been trying to get ideas on how to make my new place feel more like home. Another idea for the phone cord if you want to add some colour to it, is to use embroidery thread. Choose a couple of different colours, you can double up on the thread if you want it a bit thicker. Start with 1 colour on one side and hold the other colours down the length of the cord and do the same knot with the single colour around the cord and other threads. Do about 10 knots with the one colour (or how many you think looks good), then switch to the next colour and do the same number of knots. Keep going until you get to the end of the phone cord! I'm a 90's girl and we used the same knot to make friendship bracelets and hair wraps

Hi Drew, thank you for today’s video! Esp in theses weird times. Say.....for tassels, I tend to tie the tassel to the place I want it, THEN I take the two ends that we’re used to tie, bring them down to JOIN with the rest of the tassel and finish by making the top “ball” bit. This way, you don’t have cut ends on the top of the tassel, and it makes the whole thing a bit stronger.
Love the rainbow ans scalloped edge ideas, I like when you show string techniques like this which can be adapted in so many ways, both to the projects you show and to completely different projects using the same technique.

I have been getting some crafts done that have sat for sometimes years (!) and I've learned some really helpful things from you that should have been obvious but weren't to me like using the boxes that Ikea flat pack furniture come in to spray paint on. Covering your phone cord with the cord makes it more durable and oh so cute with the way it twists, I also love to macrame. Hi, 1st I'd like to say, I always love the music you choose. 2nd, I have done a simular cacti project, but I love you are recycling. I used very thin balsa wood, you can cut it with a blade. I did it in reverse, I used a glue gun and white glue for my texture, then paint. Just something different to share, not to compare. Last thing I promise, you use a lot of yarn, rope and fabric that frays easily. You may already know this product but your viewers may not. It's called "Fray Check", it's found at fabric stores or dressmakers supplies. If you don't want something to fray, like the edge of ribbon, the cut ends of yarn or cord projects, this will seal them. It's clear, watery so just a bit at a time, it's amazing. Keep safe, tfs
I sit outside on our porch, go for walks, but not to stores or places people congregate. I live in So Cal too and our cases have highly increased since they lifted the quarantine. And yes, I invariably think funny things when you cut out that shape!!!

Working with cord, rope or yarn, it's worth taking a minute to create a shuttle--a manageable-sized spool of yarn to pass thru your work area without having to draw the whole length. Especially with twine, it's much more gentle to hands ;-)

Drew. These werent necessarily things i would do for myself but.. they would be super crafts to do with kids at home. 😁❤ I have been painting, starting a container garden on my patio and making things for my kids homes.

Hi, 1st I'd like to say, I always love the music you choose. 2nd, I have done a simular cacti project, but I love you are recycling. I used very thin balsa wood, you can cut it with a blade. I did it in reverse, I used a glue gun and white glue for my texture, then paint. Just something different to share, not to compare. Last thing I promise, you use a lot of yarn, rope and fabric that frays easily. You may already know this product but your viewers may not. It's called "Fray Check", it's found at fabric stores or dressmakers supplies. If you don't want something to fray, like the edge of ribbon, the cut ends of yarn or cord projects, this will seal them. It's clear, watery so just a bit at a time, it's amazing. Keep safe, tfs

I sit outside on our porch, go for walks, but not to stores or places people congregate. I live in So Cal too and our cases have highly increased since they lifted the quarantine. And yes, I invariably think funny things when you cut out that shape!!!

Working with cord, rope or yarn, it's worth taking a minute to create a shuttle--a manageable-sized spool of yarn to pass thru your work area without having to draw the whole length. Especially with twine, it's much more gentle to hands ;-)
You should do a video about different interior decor styles/how to find your own style for your home. It'll be something different but really helpful!
