Beautiful….you don’t need to lighten the rocks; it perfectly captures the feeling of the beach at that time of day. Lovely sky; made me vividly remember the first time I came to CA.
I do like how this turned out, especially the sky. As a newb to painting, I am always impressed by beautiful skies with clouds. Thank you for the inspiration.

My dad and I love jamming together on the guitar and he used to be a drummer as well! What were some of your favorites to jam out to back then and even now? 🤷♀️😊
@@chamberlainpaintings We love our classic country and thats what we play/sing the most. But back in my dad's drumming days, he would mostly be jamming Led Zeppelin, Stevie Ray Vaughan, etc.. 🤩🤘We love rockin and Rollin too

Near Arcata there’s College Cove beach, Trinidad, strawberry rock, and Ferndale about an hour north
** Fern canyon, they filmed some of Star Wars in those woods
