Pretty handy tensioners to have if you need something stronger than the aluminum 3-hole tensioners. $6 for a set of 4 on a 2gr carabiner is a great price!
Ordered these at 2 in the morning , didn’t know what the hell I had when they arrived, thought I ordered something else . Glad I found your vid. Thanks.
great video. surprisingly this is the only video I could find on these. I just bought a lot of 10 aluminum ones and I can't wait to see how they hold up. is there an actual name or does anyone know of any other videos about these?
These were, I believe, originally and still made by loopalien. Search for that on amazon and a bunch of inexpensive aluminum choices will pop up. Loopalien has videos on CZcams with other methods of use as well.
I would like to see an actual tension tightening process rather than just holding it in the hand. IOW will the para cord tighten easily or is it a hassle?
+hazzard1701 Though possibly sufficient it is better to use higher rated rope or Dyneema and rated carabiners etc. just to be safe and sure. Dynamic and angular forces in hammocks wil drastically decrease the safety margin on Paracord which may or may not be true 550. I suggest you make it perfectly safe for the 120kg muppet that decides to jump into your hammock. Remember, a broken neck can spoil the hammocking experience. ;) Check out hammockforums.net or similar for excellent advice on safety and comfort.
hazzard1701 paracord shouldn’t be used for a hammock. Use Amsteel. I also wouldn’t use these to support my weight. But they are useful for a tarp ridge line.
DUDE. YOU MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND THESE ! ! ! I'D BUY A BUNCH OF THEM IF YOU HAD A DIRECT LINK. NOT A LINK TO A FACEBOOK GROUP. LINK ME TO YOUR MARKETPLACE AD. OR SOMETHING. THERE ARE 50 OREGON BUSHCRAFT GROUPS.
Helpful, but so hard to get through this with the music.
great video hate having to try listening to you through background music.
Brian's Life Yeah, this was an early video for me. I've learned my lesson since then :)

Totally going to start carrying the Propane torch with me Lol. Kidding. Neat little product!
I know you love your favourite music, but do you have a version of this video without the music? Many thanks.
cool little piece of kit

great stuff... cheers.
do you have any idea on the break strength of these guys?
Tom Messig several hundred pounds I'd guess. Maybe more? Kind of wish I had a way to test them :)
Gotta get me some of these.
hope your still around
Thank you!
Man, I need some of these... I hate tying knots for this use. Very cool Mark... Do you have a link?
I'll have the shop back up on the facebook page tonight!
Cool, I will have to go check it out...
thank you

Ed Taylor Do a search for Loopalien and you’ll find a lot of videos on its use.
@@GreybeardMakes I want to purchase a set, but I don't know how to find you?
Where do you buy these 3-home tensioners?
Timothy Griess I sell them. Don't have any listed at the moment but you can email me at oregonbushcraft@gmail.com
Great idea. I went to your facebook page to buy but did not find them. Are they still for sale.
joe m I haven't found an easy way to sell them. Seems like most of the "shops" just want too much money in transaction fees, etc...
Would these be suitable to use with paracord to suspend a hammock? I am only about 60kgs.
+hazzard1701 I believe they would hold just fine.

another awesome deal ! I was interested in the rings, sent you a PM not sure if it went thru,
Got your message buddy! I'll let you know when the shop is back up!
Hey there would these be useable to put up a hammock, if you thread it with paracord.

You’re competing with music
If you need a knot to use it, it sucks! What's the point of it then?
Where can I get these bro
Nadeem Leon Do a search for LoopAlien. They come in different metals and sizes!
Oregon Greybeard thank you sir
Backing track is sooooooooooopp distracting …… I fail to see what it’s designed to add to the video !
Sorry bud, had to cut it short, too hard to hear what you are saying!
Background music is distracting, why is it even necessary?
I eventually muted the sound as I found it annoying.
Just use a prusik knot.... No weight nothing to lose and effective
WHAT ARE YOU SECURING?
dmanbigd1 Thanks for watching!

dmanbigd1 Thanks for watching!
You can probably stop yelling.
Please cut out music on tutorials. It’s very distracting.
same hole/lock point system as nite ize figure 9.
палец вверх, если ты с аллиэкспрес
Painful to watch. How many times can you possibly need to repeat "These have so many uses" ?
stuart wall Thanks for watching!
overpriced! I find them cheaper on fleabay!
Thanks for watching and commenting!
Rob Fern where can I get these bro
Dude! Can the music! Can't hear you. Looks like a nifty product, but I quit watching because of the music!
Thanks for watching!
Get rid of the music
ALL THIS BULLSHIT AND STORE IS CLOSED.
NICE VIDEO, BUT YOUR AUDIO SUCKS❗
Music sucks!
background singing is distracting, annoying and makes the vid unwatchable. 🤯
For those that can't tie knots, extra weight easy to lose no thank you
