The dark part of this song is pure Javanese pentatonic scale. Great scale!
Yeah. I tried it on piano. The traditional scale seems to correspond to the pop scale. With slight difference. The pop is in Eb minor [Eb, F, Gb, Ab, Bb, Cb, Db, Eb] while the traditional pentatonic goes in Eb, Fb,Gb, Bb, Cb. But I can't figure out how these two scales can go well with one another. Maybe you can explain. I'm studying music. This thing interests me a lot. Thanks in advance.

PF is Sundanese or Javanese scale while SKK is Balinese scale. Btw, Dave Grusin, Fourplay, joined in PF as a piano guest. He tried to interpret the scale into his style. The result?
