Egypt is much better and also well organized. Japan does not care about visitors, the attitude of their staff says volume. It is designed for young generation with cell phone, apps, who is quick and alert to struggle with the reservation service opened at 9:00am and gets full at 9:00 !!! And don’t expect any help from the staff who seems to be robots that keep on saying “Sorry, sorry, sorry,…”
So true..I am here today march 15, 2022 at 9am its really crazy that its fully booked on the app amd no advance booking it should be on the same day so imagine at exactly 9am that much people coming just to visit japan pavillion and yet i wonder how they dont have way rather than booking online its really unfair for people who comes from far and the tourist who just came to visit and not everyday can come..100 percent dissapointing
Yeah, that stuff irked me too. Went there today at 5 in the afternoon and the queue was barely 20 people long but they didn't let us in. I'm all for organization, but when I got my ticket I had no bloody idea that I needed a goddamn appointment. I went there to visit a bunch of expositions, not a dentist. That being said, it does look like one of the better pavilions in the Expo, so it's quite a shame we didn't get in.
Don't mind the Japanese l visited twice two different days and l was told it was fully booked. The booking will start by 9am and ends by 9am lol. Surprisingly Japan is the only country that does this.

Awesome pavilion, but the reservation shenanigans weren't appreciated to say the least. I booked my Expo ticket a few months in advance, so I had no idea I was supposed to register a reservation that morning. I would have happily waited in queue if that was the case, but completely denying somebody the opportunity to see one of the pavilions they went there for in the first place was a bit of a dick move.
Really wish they had a Naruto reference somewhere… being an Indian, i fell in love with Japan and its tradition through what i saw in Naruto. It made me curious to explore the country’s culture and values. Meh. Their loss
