Delta Boeing 757-200 Engine Growl on Takeoff in Atlanta!

Unedited takeoff of Delta Airlines Boeing 757-200 from Atlanta, Georgia. A thunderstorm had just passed through, so a full-power takeoff was performed to quickly climb above the thunderstorms in the area.

The engine grinding noise, commonly referred to as the "buzzsaw effect," is a result of the blades on the jet engine spinning faster than the speed of sound. It’s in such high thrust that it sounds a bit like an RB211 even though it’s a PW2037.
