I did not give a shit about it, period. As in I saw the trailer and it was so far departed and current day bs that I did not give it a second look other than to watch people s**t on it which I will admit was entertaining. Beyond that, the show is so far beneath me that it did not warrant even caring enough to get angry about.

My parents named me after Lord of the Rings, so Rings of Power's cultural invasion of it was very personal for me. My one sentence review of it was simply "A failed attempt to rape." Because it was the one fandom they failed to destroy because it was more powerful than Star Wars, Doctor Who, and Star Trek combined. What the show was designed to do was to inject venom to the fans through the way it had casted its roles, something I refer to as punishment casting. I made up another word as well for this evil Hollywood trend. "Casting diarrhea." The most offensive thing to me personally was the archer elf character archetype, obviously designed to resemble Legolas specifically, but they cast it with a random no talent blacktivist. They're so cruel that I think it must have offended God himself because they were punished for their evil world wide.

If they “Named you after Lord of the Rings”…. Then are you Sauron? He IS the lord of the rings lol. Also….. idk if we should take anyone seriously who uses the word “blacktivist” 💀 The internet has made you brain broken

I think the comments section is kinda confusing proving that most of the online keyboard warriors are just bigots. You can tell by the language they use that they consume certain content that leans more conservative and “anti-progressive”.
It’s also super funny that they don’t see when it’s all perfectly present in the Peter Jackson films as well. Aragorn in the movies is not the same as Aragorn in the books. I’d argue movie Aragorn is more whiny. And book Aragorn is more sure of being the heir to the throne of Gondor and shows off Narsil as he introduces himself to pretty much everyone. Yes…. He carried the shards of Narsil with him the whole time. He didn’t just acquire it in Return of the King.
People will just be triggered by anything without using their brains much

I did see anything racist or sexist about any of the comments. The show was trash.
