Also if we get some very cold weather, make the footbox and then put it over your normal sleeping bag. Warm as toast.

It looks well made and cozy like a warm hug!
Great demo and take care 🇨🇦 ❤️
Very good review man. I've already got the helikon tex one. It's a pillow, sleeping bag, quilt, under blanket and poncho. I do look a bellend wearing it as a poncho, but it's very warm. Take it easy. 🏴
Cheers buddy
Awesome video, cheers 🍻 from East Coast Canada 🇨🇦!
great review. I need to try hammock camping yet
You'll love it so be prepared to invest my friend
Good review Scott mate. Sounded like you were wearing a radio Mike. Wear it under your T shirt mate. Stops it from being knocked and picking up unwanted noise. Just a suggestion mate. Keep em coming.
Ps. Not having a go. Just suggesting.
Hi mate apologies. For late reply. I've tried it in a video released after today. Seemed a little better. Cheers.
@@OscarOutdoors22 if all else fails, try using low tack surgical tape and tape it to your chest. Thanks for replying Scott. 🙂
I'll give that a go... its clipped on my scouting wood beads atm
👍
I just received the one wind overquilt also, I have been testing around 5 C to 10 C currently it is keeping me very warm in shorts no socks and a light fleece this leads me to believe in a hammock system with underquilts and a tarp for shelter i could use this top quilt comfortably to maybe 0 C if i had the other items also, to assist soon I hope to take it up the the mountains and really see what it can do.
I really like my Onewind Set up... It's a great bit if kit I've pushed it below zero and was warm
This video needed more commando crawl 🤣
Great review. And dang you Scott, you smooth talking scallywag. My hammock arrives tomorrow. I'll pin it out to minimise sway and see how I get on. Great review fella 👍
Ha ha.. sorry bro. How did you get on with it?
@@OscarOutdoors22 I lived to tell the tale 🤣 was OK once I got some shock cord on the sides. Just picked up a DD 3x3 multicam for a song today to round off the set. My Basha is just a tiny bit short for it. Less than 40 quid spent 👍
Awesome if your on Facebook or other socials some pics would be awesome to see
@@OscarOutdoors22 I'll get some shots next time I'm out. Put all my tent ones up in Dan's group on FB. I'll have to get the hammock ones up in yours.
Sounds Awesome, look forward to them mate
I’ve put you a big fat thumbs up on that one Scott hope all’s well 👍
Thank you Lee..yeah all good here mate thank you. You?
Yes alls good pal thanks for asking enjoy your weekend pal
Hi scott good review mate. It's always good to carry kit that has a multipurpose. Thumbs up as always bud 👍
Definitely
Looks a canny bit o kit mate 👍👍👍
Cheers Craig. Apologies on late reply mate
@@OscarOutdoors22 no need to Buddy 👍👍
Just received mine today I originally wanted the dd hammocks top quilt but couldn't find the old design and don't like the new design after watching this review I thought perfect and the added bonus of using it as a poncho can't wait to get out and use it now
Nice one let me know how you get on with it my friend
Hi Scott, great video.
I was just thinking of buying the Snugpak Poncho Liner as I have the patrol Poncho. How does this compere? I already have the gurgle blanket for my hammock.
Cheers
I love the poncho option to this although I do wonder if a zip would be better than snaps so there is less chance of it gaping and letting a draught in.
Watching you stuff that back reminded me of trying to stuff my 3x3 dd tarp back in its bag after the meet, took 2 attempts coz the first time i tried to put the corners in first and ended up witha tarp balloon poking out the top of the sack!
🤣🤣 been there done that!! 🤣
Is there a temp rating on this as a top quilt?
HI Scott , you need to sort out the sound on your videos mate , microphone keeps dropping out at times , then gets really loud , great review other than that , Be Well my friend .
Aaaaah yes, two wind for one wind Bob Head... I had headphones on and by heck it went really loud, blew head off like...
