a wonderful thing about Beckett's drama is how widely varied the actors' interpretations can be, since the playwright gives them so little.

I like the way he did this speech...he maintained the rhythm of the scene - an intention of absurdist theatre. I've seen it done more dramatically before, but when done that way, it breaks up the almost singing quality to it.

Hm.. I won't profess to necessarily know what the speech is about. I don't know if there's any 'true' interpretation that exists per se, given what we know of Lucky's Speech and how it simply rambles on despite being so completely defunct of closure, which, in many cases, could lead to different thoughts as to what he is talking about or what Samuel Beckett was thinking when he made that speech in that cramped form namely concurrently simultaneously what is more for reasons unknown no matter what matter the facts aren't really there but time will tell.
Ok I'm done. Let me just.. fade away for a bit.

@jhniscolV2 Oh fair enough. Sorry it seemed as though you were referring to the entire play (probably the way your comment was placed in the feed). I also thought you were referring to the meaning behind this part of the text, which I don't think is specifically about God at all (even if there are biblical references). But I see what you mean :)

I have no idea what this monologue is supposed to mean. Is the lack of cohesiveness what makes it absurd?
