Fabulous composer. One of the best modern voices we have. I enjoy watching interviews with her and discussing her creative process. I admire how she composes chronologically. My composition prof didn't discourage us from writing laterally (thankfully).

I wish she couldve elaborated on why she says being a composer is very tough?

Composing is grueling, often frustrating, time and labor intensive work with (for most of us) very little (if any) compensation for the work.
