They are trying Livingstone for that role but I also want root because although his strike rate is less compared to Malan/Livingstone but what he brings on table is a bank of runs on tough two paced pitches where you require a player like root who nudges around singles and doubles to get a decent total.
Trust me SL are bouncing back. Having this England line up. They have also restricted to a good total in T20s. Taking 5 wickets in this match also shows they are improving.
