Proud of you for your absolute pure honesty! This kind of transparency is why so many vloggers have had success... I would argue one of the big reasons CZcams succeeded. People need to feel like they can relate/be related to. Social media and video has allowed that to happen. Excited to see you accomplishing so much and sharing that adventure with others!

Oh my gosh, Lady tears, you basically described my life! I shot my last wedding after 10 years last year and have just this year started teaching and leading & serving a community of photographers! It was such a hard chapter to close and for sure I lost myself for a little while as it was such a HUGE part of me! So touched someone else has gone through this road with whole heart

Natalie, you are wonderful! I loved this so much! It can be so scary to alter your path and direction.. Reminds me of a conversation I had with Lauren Carnes at the RTS leader's retreat that your calling can and probably will change. I think we get so caught up even just from an early age, that we need to pick one thing to do for the rest of our life, but that's not necessarily the case. It changes and that's the beauty of it. And you might not know or even be able to guess what's next until you follow the path you're on. When you find your calling for right now, you follow that path with your whole heart, and that might lead you to your next calling. Your calling to serve as a wedding photographer lead you to this calling to serve the creative community. And you, my friend, are without a doubt made for this. Sending you the biggest hug (and also patiently waiting to buy your book. ;))

I just started recantly being a videographer and it’s amazing I would rather get out there then stay in a office or work at a McDonald’s or Walmart. And this makes me emotional 😭😢😢😢

Hello, I've always wanted to be a photographer, I like art, nature and design and taking photos. For many years, I didn't had the opportunity to buy my first camera as I was working in another field. Finally, I got one this year. Can you help me please on how to begin ?

You made some good points, I really like what you said here. I've wrestled with the exact same thing too. I also recently quit wedding photography. Like you, I decided to fully pursue the photography I truly love I wish you all the best in your new ventures. I wrote about my decision to quit also and posted it here: matthewtrader.com/i-quit-wedding-photography-to-pursue-my-passion-for-art-photography
