When it comes to lean management, Toyota is already recognised worldwide as a pioneer. Now car manufacturer TPCA (Toyota Peugeot Citroën Automobile) has turned to item for help in overcoming a challenge at its production operations in Kolín, Czech Republic. Working in close partnership, staff from TPCA who have been trained by item and Karakuri/LCA experts from item have created a highly efficient solution for minimising the wastage of time and other resources.
