I can understand Diana not appearing (as she does here) in the film itself. Her appearance in what would be a very brief, minor role would be so powerful it would distract from the story and from the main characters.
It is a stunning visual clip. Diana won't appear in the movie, she voices the soundtrack throughout the film. After she graduates from Gitis University, then all bets are off with a successful acting career! Until then, voiceover is all she is allowed to do.
