Well, it took me 5 days to beat this game, it was my very first time playing it too so I had no idea what I was getting myself into. If I had to guess I would say that it is like a final fantasy game, but I've never played one of those but it is made by the same people.
Right before I fought Lavos for the last two times I had stopped to save it and I went on without recording just to train Crono Lucca and Robo so that they would get to level 99, it took me a couple days to do that and thats how dedicated to gaming I am. -

Never really been into RPGs but I always knew how highly regarded this game was so I started playing it for the first time today. I've probably owned it for 10 years or so and never touched it. I have not been let down so far. I don't want to stop playing it. Everything about it is top notch. Amazing what they jammed into a SNES cartridge.

I've ignored RPG's for my whole life. I'm now 36 and I wanted to try something new to my gaming, so I decided I would try an RPG. I was going into it not expecting much, but WOW!! This game is amazing! I LOVE the story so far and I'm only a few hours in. I love Marle and she's my favorite character so far. Her little jump that she does when she wins a fight is cute as hell. Anyway, I'm so glad I downloaded this game to my SNES classic. By far one of the best games I've played.

Does anyone watching this video have the Chrono Trigger Deluxe Strategy guide from 1995? This is not the Chrono Trigger Nintendo Players guide. There was a guide produced by a 3rd party manufacturer and the guide was not authorized by Nintendo. It was only sold at small video game stores for a very short time and not available at Captron World of Nintendo stores. I found out about the deluxe guide from a friend but when I went to the game store where the guide was sold the owner said it was sold out and when I called back later the owner said he never got any more of the guides. They were out of stock from his supplier. The deluxe guide was 500 pages with original artwork plus detailed explanations of every weapon, helmet, armor and item in the game with detailed maps plus a complete walkthrough and was a very limited edition. I have searched on eBay and amazon for years and everywhere else trying to find this guide and I can't find it.

Wow you only beat this in 5 days? Damn that's sweet! I've been playing since February 3 and only now have beat Magus. However, I have taken a couple of long breaks due to either getting lost or just laziness

I looked it up and there is supposed to be 13 different endings and I think one of them is exclusive to the releases after the SNES.

I was/am a huge fan of Secret of Mana. I had no idea Chrono Trigger was like it or I would have bought it back when it came out. Time to fire up the emulator and give it a go.

I just noticed this when playing the original is that there is always a black bar on the bottom when you are in regular areas that aren’t the menu or map screen. It’s SUPER strange that it’s there and I never noticed until I ran it on a SNES Classic

They really need to bring this game to the Switch! If not, I hope I can find a DS copy of this game. I do have one question though, and anyone can reply and answer this if they know. Is that a sandstorm that’s occurring in 2300ad, or is that another weather phenomenon I’m not seeing?

To be honest, i just got lost after i reached the end of times.
The game kind of just stoped giving me directions, and i ended up wasting hours looking around in both the future, the medieval age and the past.
I had to go to Zenan bridge in the war age, but i just found that by accident really. It was the last period that crossed my mind.
