"Little Bird House" Junk Journal Envelope Pockets From No. 10 Envelopes - My Process Craft Video

- Hi and Welcome! I am Lily and in today's video I am making "Little Bird House" Junk Journal envelope pockets using #10 size plain envelope. I absolutely love papercrafts and want to share my ideas with you. These have become my signature Little House Envelope Pockets. The major difference between today's Little House envelope pockets and the other Little House Envelope Pockets is that today I am creating a house for the birds, lol. I will show you step by step how to create this junk journal envelope pocket using a simple mail envelope (you can also use a junk mail envelope).
Supplies needed:
#10 envelopes or junk mail envelopes
hand held punches or dies in circle, heart or scallop shapes
bird and or floral stickers
sentiments or phrase stickers
decorative scrapbook paper
wood grain embossing folder and die cutting machine or embossing machine
Adhesive
bone folder
This is a great opportunity to get super creative and imaginative using all of your supplies including scrapbook papers, stickers and all you have in your craft room. This is going to be such a fun paper craft junk journal project. Please join me.

I just made 270 of these bird houses inspired by you. I decorated the back too. My peeps are going to love them. Yes I give new meaning to the words mass making.

I work at a senior retirement home and I made them for my residents that live there. I made a tag to go inside with a sentiment on it. I will try and get a picture of some of them and post it on my face book I’m a part of the shadydabbydodah group. I’m going to pass them out during my next on call rotation .

when i try to make these, i always tear the envelope side and i can’t get it straight :(.
How about using a ruler to get a more precise cut on the end ofenvelope? If your sides tear too deep down sides, fold over a strip of washi tape. Hope this is helpful. 😊😊😊

I loved the wood grain paper south that I made some similar. Mine arent embossed, but that's alright ! Now I have an idea of how and where to use them. 😅

Thank you so much! Most of my journal flip through videos within the last 2 years will feature one of my Little House Envelope pockets. My preferred method to insert in the journals is to simply paper clip them in. Hope you find my videos helpful. :)

Paper I don't know if the phone checks out sometimes you need to lightly Spritz your paper so it doesn't crack I don't mean get it wet I mean give it one Spritz of water because sometimes if your papers I don't know if this is working sometimes when you need to do your embossing you need to Spritz your paper with water one Spritz
Yes, lightly misting the paper before running it through the embossing works well.

Get some dishes or a shoe box or get rid of the candle on the coffee cup and get a tray to put your tools on and get something to put your clothes in and organize your space and then you will have a much better time crafting instead of having to look for everything each time I think that is what most people's problem is
