Except the blue guy most of the ppl (including women) were looking at you coz you were doing something odd over there by holding a camera towards them. And ppl who were sitting on the floor of the train were actually talking to their frnd who was sitting opposite to u. Btw report the blue guy to the police usually the police is Swift in their action against any form of abuse.
it's even a possibility they paid him to act like that
@@neelobh You stupid? A girl would pay to get harassed????
Totally agree… everyone’s reaction there was Weird because they saw her shooting on camera… infact the guys sitting down were telling her to stop shooting and the other one was scared that what is she upto… can’t Judge Just Chennai on ur Video Bases… for sure the blue shirt guy was vulgar in actions… again even he was shooting u … u could have taken an action there and then if u had ur bouncer instead of posting it n talking about it … being brave n taking action is imp
@@carolthomas4015 she went with few bouncers alll the time but she created a scene which is unexpected. In recent survey chennai took a place as safest city and these butt burning guys came with camera with a script to cook here
After watching this Chennai video for the 15th time Having a doubt that the blue shirt guy is a part of the script 😂😂😂
1:47 you were secretly recording them with your gopro. They were looking at your camera. The women was looking too. They were just curious. I am sure there are creeps out there and its not safe for women but don't tarnish some innocent people's image like this.
Wowwww just say anything to protect the image of those creeps ??? If you are a lady and you commented this Dude shame on you And I feel sorry for you

I am pretty sure that Most of the people were looking at the phone or camere even women were starring at u but that blue shirt guy needs to be hold accountable and should ne put behind bars
why tf is she recording random people on a train and then accusing them of staring at her?
🤔
She was being totally discreet first of all and wanted to record the behaviour of the people (men particularly) which was utterly disgusting 💩

Am not sure which sub urban train is running @2am.. Every train stopped @1am
I am just 16... My father being in the defence... He was posted to Chennai... The thing I observed there was people there are very conservative... They don't like girls wearing jeans and tshirt or dresses... If a 2 yr old girl is wearing a dress the parents themselves make her wear leggings... I was quite taken aback abt the thought process of the people... I am not telling all people r like that in Chennai... To some extent yess they judge you when you jeans top... Skirt ka toh sawal hi paida nahin hota... I myself have an experience... I was wearing jeans and top and roaming... Not even a crop top it was oversized tshirt and jeans... Jj went with my father to buy something from the market... Some ladies... Were staring at me... More like judging me for wearing jeans and tshirt... I could understand what they were speaking abt me with each other... Which was quite shocking... The problem is Women don't support women... I mean I was just 12 yrs old that time... What dk u expect a 12 yr old to wear? Salwar kameez? Seriously... The child at thatcage would love to choose want he or she wants to wear rather than having alot of ristrictions... Its kind off odd... People should understand that there should be freedom to where whatever that particular person wants to... And stop judging for once... If women only stare and say stupid things then men will obv try to do something na... This is not only Chennai or Tamil Nadu... It for whole India... People need to be a lil more open minded when it comes to girls ka clothings...
Should get matured a little bit. Learn law of attraction between two sex. First of all if u say ,u wear jean with top or any modern clothing ,it's ur freedom. So y do men don't have freedom to watch ? Eventhough I dont support physical abuse and staring a women.
But women should understand,we were brought up in a society where our ancestors have maintained certain dignity for women and respect them. But nowadays for men ,women is just a object either pay her for sex or fuck off . She has no values in the society.
How cleverly you defended the men there😂
Happened for my North Indian female friend as well. The ladies were staring at her as if they were about to loot her.
Every place has its own culture ... Except pune mumbai .... No one wears skirts in other cities of maharashtra ... Its just a culture
Yeah when you record entire people in a train ,they will look at you. Except the blue guy everyone else is minding their business
Looking at making inappropriate gestures is different right?
I agree
I just wanna know how she was recording in train? With mobile or GoPro?
The mistake was with girl ...she started Filming without reason.and then they stare at her..even if u do this to me i do the same...who gave permission to film us...and my sister daily goes safely in chennai...she never state like this a single problem..for us chennai is much more safer
She is trying very hard for getting negative comments
Imagine a random woman and 4 people along with her standing infront you with a cam.
Yeah let's jerk off while watching them right?
Hello Guys,
I have mixed opinion with this!
I have been in many night outs at chennai, even with my female friends. But, we haven’t encountered any of the scenarios as you mentioned.
I agree that people at the sub urban trains (not at chennai metro) used to stare, Even we guys had afraid of getting looted, especially during peak crowds and late nights as well.
I like to say my perspective, In this video we can also assume that the people may stare by looking at the camera she was holding.
Adding to that, Coming across a modern woman at chennai metro is very common. But not at the sub- urban trains. This may also attract a lot of on-lookers.
Hence, I conclude that it may take some time for people to totally ignore a woman who is out at late nights.
But for this sake I won’t term the chennai is not safe. It is safer than many and safest to a huge extent than many.
Are you girl?
Stop defending bulshit 🛑
I was in Chennai for 6 years . Good that your friends didn't experience this but my friends and I have faced such issues in Tambaram while returning back home , especially in buses as we use the ladies coach in train most of the time.
but i did have an experience as such in here i feel like my city is safer than chennai at this point.
Yeah, Apart from that one guy, all other people are staring because of the camera..
One guy is totally wrong and not acceptable..
every sane human being would stare at you if you film them with a go pro camera in the metro at night, really don't know if the blue guy was being creepy but weren't you filming him first? the real shit is you intentionally went to that metro actually finding some creep to find your content.
Are you for real defending this?
shame on you bro imagine defending behaviours like this
Get well soon
@@ronaktiwari5552i dont know if u travel much, but at those hours there's a category of ppl active,
The woman &ex workers and their customers, so in that category these ppl do strange things to get what they want, u will find women making dirty slurs to get picked and paid which is ofcourse not recorded in most cases because that is what this whole thing is about, keeping the privacy and continuing the work for livelihood.
If this happens in morning hours, then u can be assured these ppl r normal decent ppl and when they do such acts then u know they r dangerous. At night, u have hookers on streets who r waiting for ur actions, they will find and also ask u the rates because millions r waiting on streets to get picked.
Can't generalise everything u need to consider facts of both sides, the time, the routine, the category of ppl around, everything.

I guess Have come across your channel very lately, however Lucky to see all your videos and creating a very great content and spreading like this awareness is much much needed in India. As an adult female I would like to know more deeper abt such things.
One thought which comes in my mind seeing one of ur comment that men n women both are not safe is very much true but not totally fair as I believe men n boys are grown up in such a mentality that "KOI UNKA KYA HI BIGAD LEGA ". OR. KAUN KYA HI LEGA HAMARE SE " until this kind of thinking is there I guess we aren't safe anywhere ....
Also have a lot to say on this, However plz keep us updated with such videos until then plz be safe Ma'am ❤️🙏🏻
It's not just Chennai, anywhere we go.
Are they staring at camera or her ?
Y don't u do it in Hyderabad
At night, at 2 am, walking with PCH and recording, wearing a half jeans, walking in public....
Not only boys but even girls and old ladies stare at you if you do such things 🤦🤦
I feel dressing like this in local train especially in Chennai where the clothing is very traditional and modest and carrying a camera recording everyone ofcourse they will look at u, I have been to Chennai alot of time and even i was roaming their at night with my girl-friends, i never felt unsafe
Requesting to read fully, everyone!
Hi. I really apologise and feel bad for the situations you'd faced. I'd been in Chennai for a decade, and here's what I observed.
Chennai has many daily-wages & slum workers hailing from different towns of the state. And especially during nights after 11PM, the most you could see on the roads & trains are those people and most of those people would be drunk. Thus the combination of slum workers + drunk clearly specifies it is not safe, no matter which city is that. A corporate employee being drunk vs an average slum worker being drunk, there's a lot of difference. I wouldnt say all, but most. Chennai has a lot of slum workers. Thus this specifies and justifies the situation you'd faced. However, I'm so sorry for what you'd overcame.
Its like going to jungle and finding out that tiger can eat you or he is gonna let you go i mean whats the point ?
Do you people record videos with a secret cam or a cam which is visible to others ?
My respect for Pune 📈📈📈
What is the meaning of cat calling?
No of the Chennai trains runs between the time 2 AM.
I agree with it closes at 12.30 ish something

This is so disturbing being a mother i ll never have courage to send my daughter away from home for studies n anything 😢
I being a local (male) can't go to ECR beach at late night cuz police patrol there. I stay near kovalam (the place mentioned by the journalist). ECR has witnessed number of murders and other crimes so cops are there to protect them.
Why you want to go there at that time? Hey that’s the reason police was there and we have a special app for womens and control room number. Did you go there if they say there is a cyclone? Grow up all the city’s have such place.
Qur'an 33:59 tells Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) to ask his family members and other Muslim women to wear outer garments when they go out, so that they are not harassed: O Prophet! Ask your wives, daughters, and believing women to draw their cloaks over their bodies.

As a girl how do you heal from the real trauma and insecurities you get from these experiences?
she earns money so !!
Talking about Chennai, yes I have experienced in Chennai and a major incident in Bangalore as well. That too, the incident happened at 7 P.M.
The incident happened with me in the middle of a road and literally there were people standing nearby and could clearly see what happened. While I screamed and yelled at those fuckers, none of them even had the humanity to come and check on me. Moving from Maharashtra to South is a big change. Because of these experiences, I definitely can say that south is not safe

When an item song (in which women objectives as tandoori chicken and so on..) releases then we groove listening that. If we dont raise our voice against that then we dont have right to question the mental for general public because a person's behaviour is the reflection of what he/she consumes. I took only one example of item songs. And many of us using Instagram these days. No one is unware how a girl objectify herself there. There are various aspects which constitute the mentality of the person. It will be unfair if we only consider the result without thinking upon the reason.
Most of them are looking at your camera. And wondering what you are doing at2 am because i guess most of the young modern woman don’t travel like that . If they see woman like you alot every day at that time just like in Europe then they will get used to it and it will be normal. But how can you judge something which is not even common in India. ? Some older men are like that in most of the countries . Even men are not safe nowadays.
Chennai ppl usually sleep @ 10 to 11:30pm maxi. May be nomads may do those thinks

After knowing that a Brazilian girl biker tourist being gang raped by 7 men in jharkhand along with her husband bei g beaten , I want to say that india is terrible for woman , i know people will not get this they ll start saying defaming this that non sense it's true right india has a country when it comes to women safety has failed completely it sends shivers man knowing all those cases against women jyothi singh AKA nirbhaya , veterinary doctor in hyderabad , soujanya in mangalore , these r very few registered and made it news cases but apparently their r un registered rape cases in india which r not covered by media horrifying don't know when this will end
The problem are the people (blue shirt guy) who behave inappropriately. This happens all over the world. She is not saying that all the people of the city are to blame. Its about what is being done to prevent this? Are there street lights? Any security officers present? A surveillance camera? How should we stop this is the question and not if is this staged or not.
False verdict !
I have had female friends from Delhi, UP, maharashtra, etc who have thoroughly felt safe in chennai for 4-5years. They didnt even want to return. This was like 10-15yrs ago.

😂😂😂India does have many problems, such as racism, the caste system, and high rates of rape. We must realize that this is not a problem that only occurs in the southern or northern regions, but a problem for the entire country. I am grateful to be born in Indonesia, where there are 5 religions and various ethnic groups such as Chinese, Arab, Indian, European, African, and American. We all live side by side in peace. Although there are sometimes disagreements, they can usually be resolved peacefully. I hope India can overcome this moral crisis.
Illegally recording people's faces without their consent is against the law, and I intend to report this video.
Ohhh yeah and what about the behaviour of that man you saw in the video??? You not gonna report that you stinky southie

Not just Chennai, India, anywhere you go its not about the place. It's about the distracted lustful people roaming there.
Firstly all the people here need to understand that you don't have control over other but you have control on yourself. So why would you put yourself in a position where you also know that you are not safe?

Same if she did this vlog in north india next day her photo will come in newspaper as missing, she very well tried to damage the city with this one incident even there is lady is staring at her only because of her dress and no one stare that lady who is sitting. Am not dragging the dress politics here but no one will go in such time with that dress and Chennaities will never do that.
Go to the place in pallikaranai radial road after 10 pm and same in Nelson manikam road after 12 am and Outer Ring Road at same time and see the call girls there will wear the similar dress if you wear the same dress in day time no one will stare like that but you did it intentionally
Everybody will look at you if you are shooting them with a video camera, Seems like you are purposely creating a video., this video should be sent to the chennai police., since they are more experienced in arresting youtubers who create fake news. People are not used to night life here in chennai..pls dont even compare mumbai banglore or delhi with chennai..some one will fwd this to the for sure..then Will come to know, WHAT DO YOU DO IF A GUY OR MEN OR A WOMEN OR A TRANSGENDER TAKE A VIDEO CAMERA AND FOCUS ON EVERYONE WHO ARE TRAVELLING ON THE 2 AM TRAIN..
THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN ARRESTED AND PUT BEHIND BARS.
ITS NATURAL WHEN YOU TAKE A VIDEO, PEOPLE TEND TO LOOK AT YOU.
I AM SURE THAT YOU ARE DOING IT FOR A MERE PUBLICITY STUNT.
CHENNAI POLICE WILL ANSWER AND CLARIFY YOUR DOUBTS
Women also watching you.. they think may be you are from CZcams channel.. when we travel with camera. People keep staring at our group..
Blue guy is creepy
Real mens knows they are looking into cam 😂
I am from Chennai and have not gone through such things… because i don't dress up so revealing though i dress up as westernized i could. The only reason as far as i could think of them staring at you like that would be… not to hurt anybody but only transgenders who are sexual workers will dress up
Like like that in Chennai suburbs at that time of the day. U literally asked for it.
True
Yes... I was born in South India... And I can confirm that in South India people Dislike short clothing... They prefer clothes Which cover the whole body..
First of all it's not their habit to wear such short clothes... And it's not their cultural dress so people looked at her with even more curiosity.. In South India if you don't dress decently you'll get those gross looks..( be it a girl or boy)...
So in all we can say that mumbai and pune are the safest cities
Safer means, you will not be touched in Chennai.
Hi all you can't judge a book by its cover. Don't take a random incident and say people of chennai is against woman's safety. This is offending every one.
First yiu have to stay and explore lots of places in Chennai and interact with them local people without doing thag you can't say Chennai is not sfae for women It depends upon what place you visit what .
If you go to any place with a camera at 2 am recording without their consent they will give you the same reaction....I think they are just curious instead of that blue shirt guy....I mean he is really creepy, rest are just curious because you are recording them
Not only in chennai even if you go to Bangalore or any other south or north states with these type of dress in unusual time they will come and ask what is the rate. She claming herself as journalist and she having friend in ‘NUNGAMBAKKAM’ and never know what peoples do in night that’s funny
As a men I never felt safe in mumbai, we friends planned to go chor bazaar and some locals said it will start at 4:30 am so we took last train and went to mazgaon circle railway station and we planned to wait there till 04:00 am, inbetween I went to rest room when I came out suddenly a aunty grabbed my hand and asked me to come her room I really shocked and I said am not interested in Hindi women immediately she pulled me and pressed my face in her boods immediately my friends came and shouted and she left the place later only we know from RPF this bazaar is located near red light area and they will behave like this to the new comers

Hey, if you have any suggestions for areas in Kolkata for us to explore, please feel free to share them in the comments!
Really disturbing and disgusting, imagine going alone..
Its weird not only men but also the women in the video are staring too
I agree for women safety, they should feel safe... But i noticed some cons of this video...
1.) youre filming in public transport. Yes... When you film in such places people will look at the camera atleast for 5 sec to see whats going on.. when you turn the camera, people will look at it for sometime
2.) its south india : Yes, people in south dont wear small clothes and prefer full clothes... They dont like anyone wearing shorts small clothes.(Be it a boy or a girl).. i myself experienced this...
The dressing style doesnt match south india style... Thats why they are looking so strangely on you... Next time wear their cultural dress and match them if you dont want strange looks...
I was born in south so i can tell you... Second of all People in public transport ( mostly) get curious by seeing camera and something because most of them are middle class and dont know much... So they are curious and thats why they are looking...
Appear local, in native apparel, then try. I will be curious to know the outcome. Cherry picking is not a social experiement. Wrong timing, wrong dressing, wrong gestures etc. might attract wrong response. To be honest no place in this world is safe with wrong body language, with wrong outfits in the wrong hours of the day.
Thankyou for documenting your experience and sharing it with us. It takes so much. It’s high time we start talking about this on large scale.
This is the ground reality, happens to every woman of this country, not just in Chennai, in every part and corner of the society. Not just at 2 am but at any hour. This is what women go through in their everyday lives, and sad reality is we have become accustomed to and normalised this, as there seems to be no scope of improvement.
I refuse to engage with men trying to victim blame as they are themselves the part of the problem and they always find ways to dismiss women’s experiences.
It’s well cooked video expect that blue guy everyone seeing her because of curiosity and local tamil guy asking her why she taking video. Even a lady staring at her come with interesting script
Feeling so sorry😞
Be safe
First part of video in train I observed even so many women also starring at u if u observe…ya there are some creepy guys too in every places where we go around the globe..But dont judge all men by their looks…
Sorry for that, it happened due to lot of north indians occupied chennai for earn...
Bohot galat cheez hai yeh ki ladkio ko aisa face krna padta hai but lafkio ko bhi ache kapde pehnne chahiye jisse unpar wesi najar najaye kisise
It’s not mumbai or Jharkhand we never use to such dressing culture ask your nungambakkam friend and check who will wear such dress in mid night and roam in an around Chennai
STFU , Mumbai is way safer than ur Chennai
The obvious truth will be buried in this comment section. If you dare to speak it you will be called as victim blamer.
If you think this doesn't happen to fully clothed women that use public transport to go to work and get back from work at a reasonable hour... you're so beyond reality. I've had personal experience and my friends have had to. These are very conservative chudidar with dupatta kinda girls and all of them have been groped (not once) and I wish to god I'm making this up just to prove a point to an Internet stranger but sadly I'm not.

Obviously many of these happens regardless of time or location or clothing, but this video surely isn't proof of anything, rather misleading and judgmental.
Of all the metro cities i would say Chennai is the most conservative and judgemental despite having people come in from various places. I wonder why? Also, i never understood sexualizing legs. Like skirts are comfortable and airy. I get boobs and upper thighs but can we leave legs alone? I recently got into fashion and for my body type A like skirts look amazing (beyond knee so I'll stop you right there) but I realise all I can wear is pants cuz showing legs are considered sexual?
Excuse me.. enough there are other women’s too in the same coach just for the content dont over exaggerate.. Agree that blue guy was disgusting.. but others are staring at u since u were on goPro..!! Pure Content..
Ok lets if you guys telling that is late time so they are reacting i have seen 1 incident which afternoon time full crowd metro same behaviour he did not with me to everyone he is just enjoying himself and i complained to metro service centre they are least bothered
South India people are not used to modern clothes which this girl is wearing... They cover the whole of the body with clothes.... (Both girl and boy)..
They are not used to these small clothes that's why they are looking at her strangely.. consider wearing decently and perhaps you won'tt get those looks
And the blue shirt guy was a creep. I agree
Isko bhi line de rhe thein 😅😅😅😅
It is necessary to blame the general public. I have never seen people staring at women who wear burqas. Don't you think your clothes are too revealing. You are exposing your legs, cleavage. If you wear proper clothes, will you receive the same response from the public. What you expect from people if you are not properly dressed, revealing your body parts?? You want people to put their head down if you are walking around revealing your cleavage. What if a stud guy is walking around the street with no clothes on, will you feel ashamed or stare at him?
so according to your logic, every women should wear a burqa, also cleavage and thighs aren't private organs, how is a woman showing her thighs and cleavage equal to man wearing no clothes?
Its so brave of you to go there and shoot a video about the society.
The person in the blue shirt looks very similar to a Tamil movie actor. He plays very small roles in movies. For example, he shows for a few seconds in Oh My Ghost (in the period flashback playing tabla). This video could totally be staged!
