Hank seems like a good candidate for the desperate skills, since he’s close to the 3 sanity threshold without actually risking death.
He can definitely protect allies like aquinnah or beat cop(2), but I wonder if he can protect guiding spirit.
The only thing I really want for the Feast of Hemlock Vale campaign is that there's way less reading involved. I love story, but I don't love reading for an hour while 3 other people are falling asleep because it takes so damn long... If I want to read a book I'll grab a book (:

Microscope looks fun for Joe Diamond. It works with the Detective's Colts, and Joe can defeat the enemies it requires. And then have Dr. Charles hold part of your Sledge, while you can then also cycle it with your tool belt for a mag glass or hawk-eye folding camera as needed. Plus, Dr. Charles also does dmg, so that helps with the evidence for the microscope. That combined with Charisma and Alice Luxley could be fun ....
FFG is so clever to withhold the deckbuilding rules. So much speculation, even with the new release model.

Regarding the german article with more cards, I believe this is an official article in the german FFG's official website. So it's a "real"/"official" reveal. Love to hear all your thoughts on those!
Sparrow Mask is going to be awesome with Agnes and Marie.
Sparrow Mask appears to be the best card revealed in this expansion thus far. By A LOT.

@@KrishnaRoskin I could totally see that. Apparently each investigator in the expansion is getting a mask. I don't mind strong cards, of course, but if the other masks are on this same power level--wow. That would be OP.

I feel like I'm missing something - "Where's Pa?" gives the attached enemy Elusive which is a player card, not a mechanic. Do we think it will be a new mechanic, do they mean Aloof, or am I missing something?
Yes it'll be some new mechanic that we don't know except speculate on.
If youre not having Dr Charles hold half you sledgehammer and in your other hand, you have a magnifying glass. Then what are you doing in your life? You have to go for those Scope Sldgehammer kills
After time to reflect on the announcement article, I wonder will they restrict Hank to only using Tool Weapons. 2 life pools & 5/6 punch is kinda OP & definitely negates playing some other fighters in the game.

My main concern is his deckbuilding tbh, and if he can take the guardian allies (survivor0/guardian 1-5).
There’s definitely cards that would fit like beat cop(2) and grete wagner. But then there’s field agent which has a LOT of actionless/testless clue potential for hank, maybe even too much?
He’s be happy with Sledgehammer, chainsaw, and the new pitchfork so I’m not sure that restriction would do much.
Hank Samson will be crippled by injuries, no pun intended
Why is Bryn always in the mask?
For the +2 when discussing a card. Like the Sparrow Mask but for content creators.

Microscope looks interesting in Kymani. Evade a bunch of enemies while they're out and then while they're not, you can use the double action to get clues; like a budget Fingerprint Kit(4). Not to mention, Rogue take many action brrrrr
Maybe Hank Samson can't play assets at all 😲
