- Can you believe Stanley is 1 already!! Time flies when you're having fun! He may be getting older and wiser, but only wiser at getting away with mischief! Still the same little terror that he was when we picked him up but wouldn't change him for the world!

Aw! Happy Birthday, Stanley! He's a good boy for actually taking an interest in the present under the paper (my Stewie would just eat the paper and forget about whatever was underneath). The 3 puggers in party hats was the CUTEST!

Belated Happy Birthday Stanley! I can't believe how time has flown. It's nice that your boys are so close in age.
We're bringing home our puppy Saturday 29th (not this upcoming weekend) when he'll be 8 weeks, 1 day old.
Spot is a Danish-Swedish farmdog - FCI provisional group 2 Pinscher breed. He's mostly black and white with some brown/tan markings. I couldn't get our teenage sons into the idea of a Bichon, Pug or Frenchie. They want someone they can run with and train. Hub doesn't want a dog that has to go to the groomers or we have to groom it ourselves. We all agreed that we're small people, with a small house, who think a small dog is the best fit for us. 16 and 19 y.o. still living at home, soon 21 y.o. son moved out in February.
We have all of those "toilet accidents", interrupted nights, and obedience training to look forward to. I've already made two mistake harness purchases before I found the next smallest puppy size from Julius K9.
Until Spot fits the IDC Julius K9 Baby 2 size, we'll use one of the other flimsy (Trixie seems flimsy to me, we have two of their harnesses) harnesses while he's still not strong enough to pull hard. The Julius K9 harness is neon yellow. We'll be in the dark months before he can fit it. The harness market is a real jungle. Thanks for introducing us to Julius K9. If we like it we'll size up. If not, I've got my eyes on 1-2 other brands, but no other brand looks as durable as Julius K9.
Our breeder only has puppies every 2-3 years, but I wouldn't think of contacting anyone else - we have a mutual bond of trust now, if we ever want another dog.
I'm rambling. I'm so excited!
