Bro nice. I'm a student of Taekwondo Ormoc Headhunters and I'm also a white belt, and i also have a Poomsae competition this June 25, 2022. I mastered foundation 1 in just 1 hour of practice. My technique is to perform it by segments.
Tbh, I didn't even think a white belt test even existed!!!. I'm a purple belt in Karate but I wish I could do Taekwondo since it has more advanced kicks and I love challenges
Very amazing experience I remember when I was a white belt back in September 2019 now I’m a red belt which I received a few days ago and I gotta say the promotion from white to yellow is the most rewarding I think in my opinion. I just need to get to advanced red then my next would be black.
My taekwondo teacher it’s from Korean The test supposed to be having red belt but my Korean teacher give me black red belt because I focus and I listen to the teacher
I don’t know how it works at that studio but at the studio I train at we have to do Kicks from the curriculum then we do our hand combinations after the hand combos we move to the forms or moving combos then we do these combos we make up to see what we learned then we do some sparring and break a board I had to do backspin hook kick for my red belt and we would do a oral test.
In our dojo, We have to do Kicks first, like basic kicks 45 degree kicks, Axe kicks, high Kicks, Side kicks, and etc... Then we'll have to do Pomsees Then we have separate teams One is Sparring and the other one is Pomsee Students who can't do Sparring goes and focus on Pomsee, over there our sensei would look at there coordination or something. And for the Sparring students like me, we'd have our weight measured and seperate us. And after that, I still think that what our sensei did back then is kinda wrong Why? Because each winners of seperate weight classes will have to fight, until there is last man standing, I being one of them is a Lightweight I have to fight Middle and Heavy weight like wtf. Good thing is that I'm more experienced than them so I landed more points and there kicks was kinda flimsy so I won.
@@Enzo-hu9gs hello, I’ve been doing Kung fu for about 3 or 4 weeks now and my experience has been amazing. My instructor always pushes me to do my best and she’s actually very nice and funny. The form I learnt is very different from taekwondo. I do a lot of stretching in my 1 hour sessions. The kung fu I go to is the traditional Chinese shoalin Kung fu and we do not have belts, we have t-shirts (which I actually like better than belts). The Kung fu is owned by a man who trained in the shoalin temple and my instructor is his daughter (she’s like 20).
