juice actually wrote the hook for this song and was supposed to have a verse but didn't get the verse in before he died. I believe this hook was that last thing he wrote before died.

I dont know much about the song or the royalties around it, but i ASSUME some of them are tied to Juices' family, if he has any.

This song is about how substance abuse turns you into a monster, or brings out the monster in you, which both Em and Juice struggled with. During the chorus Juice saying “blood on the dance floor and Louis V carpet” is still talking about the same thing. Whether it’s a house party or at a club, when you’re using substances they can turn you into a monster. So with “blood on the dance floor and Louis V carpet” he’s talking about a horrible bloody scene in places where drugs are often used, as a metaphor for the destruction that is caused by substance abuse. And parties are often held at night which he also references in other lines of the chorus.
At least that’s my take on it. I’m usually not one to read into or closely analyze bars, but I was originally a bit confused when I first heard the chorus of this song so I had to think on it a bit to try to figure out what he’s talking about with those bars.
That’s the way I took it because Em shows himself drinking throughout the video. But I’m a 40 year old white man lol

I'm quite please that you are on of the few (although it's a somewhat medium sized minority) that caught that. I was a huge fan (in middle school; yeah my mom was cool) since the Slim Shady LP (I remember when the Marshall Mathers LP (1) came out) and that song is one of my favorites. Most reactors don't seem to get that part (it is over 20 years ago).
BTW, on Mike Tyson's podcast, he brought that up to Eminem (in a calm and amicable way; they're obviously cool and Eminem was expressing admiration during the podcast and the lyric is just referencing one of the biggest upsets in sports history when Mike was knocked out by Buster Douglas. Aww you guys missed my favorite part of the flyer bars. Not only did he have a double with the handing someone flyers, he also did a crazy rhyme scheme. I paused to write this so I don't miss anything lol. My take on this is, when he is in his addiction he's a monster to be around but when he's sober he's a monster on the lyrics. y'all should try to notice the things int he video though too, most of it correlates directly to what he's saying. Music videos are typically random crap with nothing to do with the lyrics....in this one he mentions telling them to lick the balls and the girl in the back is licking a basketball. There is a cool fan made music video where the lyrics are on screen at the same speed as him rapping and its done in a gangster prison art style, its badass. I think the guy that did that video has another one he did of Em's songs. I forget the exact name of the song though.

When I say that I don't mean to take away anything from Juice but in the first Minute of this song more people knew Juice World than ever would have without Eminem or another Huge Star featuring him.
It's really sad that Juice got to his peak after his death. That's rare but I'm really happy Em put this out with so many homages to Juice in it.
