I don’t have tax on my state.. but when I go to other state I don’t include the tax to my spend threshold amount. But if you’re not working on a spend deal and just want to use wc to pay, you can include the tax to your amount and just pay with wc.
You have to know a few things 1. You must meet your threshold before taxes and after Walgreens cash 2. DIGITAL boosters you can always use Walgreens cash on 3. You can use a PAPER only if you use CONTACT LESS pay method 4. You are new to this so keep it very simple Ex. Say you have $5 back when you spend $20 Your items need to cost $40 subtotal. Because $40 - $20 Walgreens cash still equals $20 you need to pay that is not store money . 5. You need to learn what a true Register Reward is vs a Store Coupon Register Reward ( only TRUE Manufacturer RR are the same as cash in the system.)
You build your transaction by what you want to use ...example if you want to use 10.00 and your booster is spend 45.00 get xxx amount back you have build your transaction up to 55.00 ...use your 10.00 Walgreens cash after you will be at 45.00...then your coupons, register rewards will pay down your balance...example I had spend 45.00 get 10.00 back ...I built my transaction to 65.00 ...used 20.00 in Walgreens cash ..I had 13.00 in register rewards...then I had 25.00 in digital coupons...which lowered my total to 7.00 plus tax..hope this helps

Then you will learn from that..but for me I always do the highest spend booster (threshold) + wc you want to use to pay = subtotal (before any coupons) after any store coupons(IVC or PromoCodes) Hope that helps.😊
