I love Dawn's grind in the industry. She's all the way independant and produces better music than a lot of major label artists today. Her voice is so smooth and edgy at the same time. The choreography in this video is on point as well. She proves that talent lies in the underground, not necessarily mainstream.

Effortless talent. Not only does she bring out other performers who are killing the dancing/artistic game but it makes her videos stand out from the rest. The visual art of her music is just amazing and I don't think there is anyone else that can compare. Dawn in a beast in the studio and in her videos. Fan for life. Love me some Dawn.

2020 yaaaas ♥ Dawn forever - this whole EP and all of her albums on repeat. She is truly amazing. She's a true artist and realizes what that means to the very core of her being. Hoping for more Jonlee Drive!

It’s a pretty simple concept but I can appreciate how Dawn seems to embrace her “darker” side in the subject matter of the song as this song mainly centers around her feeling trapped in a relationship. Feeling unable to explore alternative elements of her personality, she readily embraces this concept through her depiction of “dark dawn”. Simplistic but effectively symbolizes this. I love Dawn!
I must give baby an A+ for creativity, originality & organic authenticity. If she doesn't get the recognition she deserves it's due to our peoples inability to recognize and endorse raw biotic artistry. She could dilute & saturate her talent so it's more palatable for the mainstream but who wants another pop doll. I really don't like to compare artists. Beyonce is who and what she is in her much deserved glory. Gaga is something different entirely but equally deserving of all her accolades. Dawn's voice, beauty, choreography & sex-appeal is all her own. I've been A fan since I heard her vocals on Young Money's "Loving you no more." I am ingesting, feeling and enjoying her sound likes sips of VSOP and she Intoxicates me intentionally.

Look at Vivian Green; been making great music forever, but only recently did she "blow-up." Same goes for Selena Johnson. Dawn Richard is just the latest iteration; uber talented, but in time, she too, will "blow-up".
