Amazing finals ! Loved the emotional moment from Nene. Those bars are so tall and those drops looked huge for her, probably very scary. And still she came through with a banger of a line. Truly wonderful.
The Elis X Kevin moment was amazing too. Both are great athletes, but I can tell Kevin has a more of an artistic approach and Elis a more athletic one towards freerunning. Seeing how they stack up against each other was interesting.
Excited for where this sport is headed. I want to see more hybrid styles. Like an artistic and creative approach but performed at an incredibly high athletic level.

I think gymnastics is prolly better than freerunning. Free running is cool, but it lacks focus. Even the most smooth connections just look sorta halted and unnatural for movement. but wait Ellis was dope. He had some good connectivity, but still each big move felt separate from the other. I think it's the trick nature. I think the athlete plan 3 big tricks and then find real basic connections. I dunno, parkour is dope, but gymnastics is just better when focused. We're watching the mid tier of floor, double bars, and pommel horse in a run. I'd rather watch separate events with the best of their class.
Still the athletes are phenomenal and I hope they drive the sport forward.
