I got to see Bernadette Peters, that made my day. Had a crush on her as a 14 year old, still do 45+ years later. Dick Van Dyke and Nancy Walker just couldn't make it and Alice ran for 8 or 9 years. Vic Tayback seemed like such a nice guy, died way to early. Ball Four had like 12 people on the intro. That spelled trouble. And a Ted Lange sighting a year before Love Boat. Oh and Charlie's Angel, my favorite episode, Angels in Chains, Judd Hirsch 2 years before Taxi. And wanted to be a M.E. like Quincy, the great Jack Klugman.

I love the mini-series drawn from novels that were prevalent at this time extending into the 1980's. *Captains & the Kings* was one of the best and had the advantage of accurately portraying basically who controls our economic and political system. The Rockefellers at the time took the lead in pushing a one-world government with a Globalist economy. We see this movement continuing to this day, pretty much out in the open. David Rockefeller admitted in his 2002 autobiography that he was pushing just this one-world agenda.

I was 16 and only remember a couple of these shows. I think that was when I started being involved with the anti-nuclear movement and the counter culture in my hometown. Hippie girls.

GREAT arrangement of "Chicago" by George Aliceson Tipton (1:12)! But a great theme does NOT a great series make......"MR. T. & TINA" was cancelled after five episodes.

At 5:40 Pretty sure that "Bigfoot" was Ted Cassidy (aka Lurch from The Addams Family). He took over the role from Andre the Giant on The Six Million Dollar Man.

I actually watched a good many of these...but not necessarily all from the beginning. SPENCER'S PILOTS, though--not only don't I remember it, I can't say I'd heard of *any* of the cast members!

of the five cast members of the first two, and the last one are all over as 'that guy from that show' character actors... but I couldn't have even guessed their names w/o the Clip either
      - Chris Stone appears to have been the Villain of the week on just about Everything in the 80s
      - Todd Susman saw his hairline recede soon after (this is the most hair I've ever seen him have) , and got a lot of work as Cops and or petty criminals; Newhart might be his most notable (look him up on IMDB and his face will surely ring some bells)
      - Britt Leach appears to have been a 'guest' on everything 80's as well, with 5 episodes of the Waltons across 3 seasons being the closest he came to a successful series

Around that time, Aaron Spelling is still 2nd to Quinn Martin as the producer of 1970s hour-long television.
    By comparison:
    Spelling:
    Family
    Charlie's Angels
    Starsky & Hutch
    QM:
    The Streets of San Francisco
    Barnaby Jones
    Most Wanted
Quinn Martin's Tales of the Unexpected
