Its funny he mentioned a second fridge for drinks. We inherited two refrigerators when we bought our house and last month, one died and couldn't be fixed for a decent price. My husband thinks we NEED another fridge 🙄

Legally one can only give $15,000 per person to another without owing the government tax dollars. So 2 parents can give $30,000 per child without paying the government.
Are you really pulling a verse out of a parable for money management pushing Ramseys method for a service without teaching the parable?
The parable is for followers to be well educated in the following of Christ and the things they have to give up in order to have Christ first only!
Maybe it would be good to reach out to a pastor who can help in this. Ben Foot flatirons church Colorado can be very inspiring in the importance of looking at the whole not a verse for a topic!
