When we had gone to Kolkata we had eaten at #6 Ballygunge place. The food was good. But my husband did not want to try any other bengali restaurants, he said my mother’s maid cooked much tastier food every day. That was certainly true.

I ONCE CONTACTED 6,BALLYGUNGE PLACE FOR A BIRTHDAY PARTY FOR MY DAUGHTER. THE STAFF WERE EXTREMELY RUDE. IT WAS APPARENT THAT THEIR ATTITUDE WAS FULLY SUPPORTED BY THE OWNERS!!

Ambience are nice but regarding taste and freshness, North Bengal restaurants are far ahead from Kolkata Bengali restaurant. Go Siliguri, coochbehar, alipurduar, Malda, Ranigunj and many more. Ambience may not good but regarding taste, beyond compare

You have no idea about North Kolkata branches. Many of them have branches in North Kolkata, but you have not mentioned.
We had very bad experience at Aheli and Koshe Kasha (Ripon Street and Bangalore outlets). We were extremely embarassed at the KK Bangalore outlet since our guest was a local guy who accompanied us based on our recommendation.
