Thanks for the review! I had my Emilie since 2008 and it is still in perfect condition because I take such good care for it. The one issue I had with it was when I asked to get it personalized, they wouldn't stamp my initials in the inside of the 'flap' because they said the marks would fade overtime because the 'flap' is constantly opening and closing, therefore the ink would crack or something... Other than that, it was my first purchase from LV and I still love it very much. :)

I so want this wallet! I just got the brand new Ted Baker wallet though.. in light pink and I love it it’s really cute 😊 I now want in in the bigger black version, haha. But I recently fell in love with the Emilie… and I never had anything from LV and I probably will never be able to afford anything more than a wallet… and if I get it, I will die peacefully knowing I experienced LV in my lifetime, which I thought never will because I grew up poor … 😩😅 But anyways, I’ve seen many videos of people pulling this wallet at the corners and I cringed so hard because they will damage it for sure! Loved your review ❤❤🥰
Love my Emilie…BUT, the button color peeled away in less than a year. So disappointing. I’ll have to have it replaced. Do you know if I can replace with gold button instead of the leather wrapped button?

Yes you can. It happened to mine, I took it in since December and yet to receive it back. They said that it will take 6 months to replace the pink with gold. So yes you can have it repaired.

I wouldn’t be concerned, especially if you purchased it from LV directly. Plus, I read some articles that said LV stopped date stamping around March 2021 and that’s when I purchased mine (so I may have gotten one of the last ones with a date stamp)…you should be fine 😀
My emilie curled at the corners. I never even used it yet. Also my Rosile... never used it. The four card slots in my emilie looks as if I already put cards into it. I placed upside down in dust bags. Hopefully this helped with the curling. I have yet to check. Also and All I'm disappointed.
Sorry to hear about your corners ☹️ - hopefully placing it upside down will help. When I got mine, the card slots were not 100% flat either; however, when I started using it (only 1 card per slot), everything looked fine and it was a snug fit getting cards in and out. Maybe try contacting LV customer service and have them review the curling (especially if you’ve never used it)…
Check the inside of the very back pocket (on mine, it was on the left side, red part of the canvas…so for yours, check on the pink part of the canvas). Hope that helps 🙂
Ahh, yes, the chip. They started implementing those last year (I believe in the summer). I purchased mine in the spring, so it has the date code; if you purchased in or after the summer, you’d have the chip.

Yes, it does (it’s stamped on the inside of the back pocket on the left, very close to the stitching)

That’s weird…maybe they used to but don’t anymore 🤷🏻♀️ (it’s tricky to see, but it’s definitely there on mine)
