I may be American but this is fantastic. God bless the British and American Vets past and present.
Armed forces day. Proud of you lads and proud to be English
British Silentauditor974, The British Empire was built by the Nations that are Part of the United Kingdom, We as are our Army a team, not a little thing, to take on the world, with a stunted outlook, Put some time in and, grow up,
@@bryansmith1920 oh sorry… my 16 years obviously didn’t count. Judgy li’ll pr*kc
@@lindar7698 I’m English, part of Britain. A Scot would most certainly tell you first he’s Scottish and then, maybe, class.himself British. Luckily, that’s a choice I still have. 🙄
So so proud of all our armed forces ! God bless each and every one for protecting our country under dire circumstances 🇬🇧🙏🏻🌹🌹🌹🌹🏴🏴🏴👏
Just what was needed. BRILLIANT
It was absolutely fantastic to see the army here with the guards.Ty all for your service 💂♂️ 🐎 🥷✨️💖
This is great as it shows that all our ceremonial soldiers have a very serious side too.
Flying to Union Jack proudly we stand with the citizens of Britain from the USA
Well done everyone, such a fantastic moment for the tourists and a big thank you to all our armed forces.
Born in England 1940. Always loved this country. A Londoner. Nowhere like it. GOD BLESS ALL OUR ARMED FORCES ❤❤❤
Awesome and still using horse power in the vehicle.😊🐎👍
Our armed forces need to be more visible, the country has huge respect for them and it could do wonders for recruitment. Their presence makes people aware that they need to behave and you never know it might be good for law and order as well.
A great British soldiers and the kings guard and the union jack a true British picture no wonder people visit are fantastic world famous guard all true British heroes thank you for your service keeping England safe respect to everyone one of you ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Nice of them to mingle and take pictures with the public
They are part of the Nation, That Nurtures you, So what have you done for your fellow Brits today, ???
Best thing seen in ages
This is brilliant, really enjoyed it. Thank you.
Just to be there at the right time. Awesome!
People forget that the guards are fighting units not just ceremonial.
At least most of the tourists are saying Thank You this time , you don't see that when the soldiers are mounted and in ceremonial uniform.
@@maurices5259 untrue. There are tourists who are polite, say, “thank you,” now, wave, etc, but they aren’t featured as much
Masses of foreigners rushing to be photoed with Btitish Soldiers but mistreated them when they ere bringing BENEFITS to their countries. It shows the BRITISH ARE POPULAR AND ALWAY WERE
This is a military area god bless you all thanks for your service
@@ladyjustice1474No, not at all. Thanking them for protecting the likes of you.
You and your woke reply are disgusting. You’re the kind of person who wants people to defend you when in trouble. E quiet fool!
That was awesome
These guys are second to none
The people of the UK are America's friends and ally. They are a Christian nation, very competent and capable and always have been. We will always support them.
British Jackal or MWMIK (Mobility Weapon-Mounted Installation Kit) vehicle. It's primary role being deep battlespace reconnaissance, rapid assault and fire support, where mobility, endurance and manoeuvrability are important. 431 Jackals are in service with the British Army. An undisclosed number also in service with the RAF and Royal Marines. Used mainly by three light cavalry regiments of the British Army. The Jackal is capable of maintaining off-road speeds of up to 49 mph (79 km/h) and can reach a top speed of 80 mph (130 km/h).
Nice for a little military PR 😂
Hey look we have big trucks XD
Ahh so you dont actually risk your life. Easy to mock isn’t it, no respect at all, for what these men do.
@@christinehoughton8591 but im not mocking. Im Sorry If It looks like mock, i Just find It funny How happy they are there ^^
Am 84 now. Used to go to Forces club near Trafalgar Square. Went to the pictures once with one of these lads. Them was the days. About 1960
They are guards. What do you expect them to do?
and fellows full served to protect PEACE
Did you notice how each horse showed each soldier respect when having photo taken. BRILLIANT
Awesome!!
Love it
Amazing how many people chose that exact moment to leave the courtyard to walk CLOSELY past the army support truck! 😂😂😂 They will want to stroke missiles and tanks next !😂❤
@@terryjeisman7550 YES YOUR RIGHT, BUT the flag also says it is "ARMED FORCES SUPPORT" truck for the 29th june 2024, UK Armed Forces Day, in London. We had similar event at Caerphilly Castle South Wales🏴. My mum dad and son were all military. Royal Navy, Army and close friend Airforce. Reconnaissance trucks are used to SUPPORT the other military personnel and be seen by the public, as brave people risking their lives for our freedom. Because of this celebration more tourists than usual mean the Royal Guards need (hopefully 😳 just peaceful) security backup. ❤️
@@karenhowells1455 maybe they had places to go, plus some of those people squeezing by may work at HorseGuards
Some tourists treat it all like some sort of circus act, they show no respect whatsoever .
So proud to be born in the best country in the world.GREAT BRITAIN.❤❤❤
Must be the other half of the life guards ... armored division
The Household Cavalry regiment, a composite regiment made up of The Lifeguards and The Blues and Royals serving as one regiment.
Fine engine sounds
Man this is impressive. Its not our LMTV'S or MRAPS but it is impressive. this is one of your scout vehicles?
The British Army have around 431 Jackals and 72 Coyotes in service at present, used for reconnaissance, rapid assault, fire support and convoy protection.
We use those too….just different names. Wouldn’t see them here as they are way too big.
Just wonderful
A lot of tourists wont make the connection it will be ow look real soldiers with these fancy guards. There needs to be poster and written explanation at the gate with pictures all the time to make the connection.
FOR KING AND COUNTRY
and technical solution too
Wow!
I don't know what it is...but I want one !
They shouldn’t put so much of the Army in one place.
I bet they don't get a fine for flying the flag 😅
I see it as a union jack on now let sadiq khan try and remove it
What a mess! Great
WHY HAVE I GOT TO SCOUR THE COMMENTS LOOKING FOR THE ANSWER TO THE HEADING ? I THOUGHT THE TRUCK HAD COME FROM UKRANE.
❤
Was the driver wearing an Army Air Corps TRF there?
Strategic positioning of troops for the result of the elections
Who's the big fish 'n' chips guy?
Can I please have a copy of this photo? ;-)
I think on normal days a Poster display at the gate to tell the tourists these are actual soldiers is needed. Even with this they wont make the connection.
HEUT GINGS WIEDER MAL RUND
( 1 in' Poppo und 2 in' Mund )
🤣
Why?
Now get outside the gates and stay away!
Rear number plate obscured . Lucky police all blind 😂
I wrote a reply that wasn't posted because I used words like muz lm, ifa dell, izz lam. The people who follow that rel i gion do not want to accm u lat but rather tak ovr. A show of mil try for ce lets thm know they will not succeed.
They probably got arrested for flying the Union flag 😂
This is a disgraceful performance turning our military into a Disneyland show. What the hell is going on with the world?
Awesome!!!
At last, letting the tourists know they are a proper regiment of soldiers and there to protect our King and Country. They are not a damn petting zoo for them all, so please start showing respect to all our awesome serving soldiers in the UK. God bless them all and keep them safe. 🙏🫶
When not on active service their role is ceremonial and a tourist attraction. I agree with your notion of respect but that's part of their discipline and soft power.
@paulm5443 I appreciate your comment. Sorry I must admit that being an army brat and a widow to, I have a ton of respect for all serving soldiers and their families it's not an easy life and they seriously don't get paid anyway close to what they deserve.
