Whoever told you that you don't have to retune your car with longtube headers don't know what they are talking about, with headers your air intake changes because of afr and your mass air flow sensor sees a change in rate of airflow

@Sigmaa5oh just leave the tune until you do E85 (headers wont harm your car but you are currently down on some power with no revised tune). Your gonna need boost pumps and injectors. Save for a T-56 trans and brakes and billet oil pump gears. When your ready Build the engine. Boss 302 crank, I beam or H (I prefer I Beam) and the pistons depend on if you stay N/A or plan on Boosting. 10-1 compression for boost or 12-1 for N/A. 13-14 GTs are kind of .5 Gen in my opinion with the Boss 302 being Gen 1, 2016-2017 Gen 2 and 18-23 Gen 3.

I have a CJ E85 2013 S197 (Cobra Jet manifold & air intake, 47lb injectors, BBK Long Tubes, Flowmaster x pipe and exhaust, DW400 Fuel pump, and tune). Id def recommend getting the fuel pump and going E85. I daily my car around Cali and I only fill up once a week. If you beat on it everyday, then yea you're gonan fill up more, but normal city driving you'll be good. Also would recommend getting an upgraded clutch and steel braided clutch line. Stock line and clutch will have your clutch pedal getting stuck on the floor past 6800rpm.
Also you can run E85 on stock fuel pump but there's a chance it will eventually burn out after awhile.

Oh ok cool, well i just have an intake and a 93’ tune, that really woke up my car, especially with the 3.73 gears. But i don’t race that much anymore because i’m up there in the miles 😂 i have over 210,000 miles and its still running the same as when it first left the dealership. And i totally agree about what you’ve said about the look on our cars, it still turn heads and explore gold diggers as well 😂👍🏽

Ok Let Me Be Honest, If U Want More Power Definitely Go With The Cobra Jet. Originally I Wanted The 2018 Manifold Cause It Would Give Me Better Power Gains Than The 302. The 302 Just Looks Prettier. But If U Get The Cobra Jet, U Will Have To Change Your Motor Mounts Cause It Sit Too High. I Though My Boss Manifold Wasn’t Go Fit Also. The Cobra Jet Sits Way Higher. Either Motor Mounta Or A Cowl Hood

@@Sigmaa5.0h if you plan on boosting the car, getting the t56 out of the way is a big W. The mt82 is hard to get used to because it will “lock you out” but I don’t think that’s really the case, I think you just have to shift perfectly on those things they’re pretty tough. My short throw made my mt82 feel way better, I get “locked out” still but it’s a very slim chance that I do. Also clutch control is a huge part of shifting, You don’t wanna ride the clutch a lot. It’s all about timing. Car is beautiful bro, keep goin 💯

With My Setup Before I Installed The Headers, I Was Racing A 3rd Gen And A 2nd Gen Coyote, Both FBO, I Would Be Walking Them From 2nd-4th Gear But Would Get Locked Out Of 5th Gear. I’m Faster Than Them But I Cant Get Into 5th Gear At High Rpm

@@Sigmaa5.0h2nd its a longer gear than 1st, you'll be at 40/45mph before needing to shift into 3rd. 1st gear your at about 20/25 mph before needing to shift into 2nd so Because we have manuals , shifting gears slows us down by like half of second vs going against someone an automatic where their shifts are faster. So imo more speed in 2nd and less shifting is better for digs. Could be wrong tho

I’m on Mustang number 6 and 52 years old so I have Mustang knowledge to pass on. My current Mustang is a 2020 GT with a Procharger, Fore Fuel System, id1050 Injectors, Long Tubes, E85, Palm Beach Dyno built that made 800hp to the wheels. Don’t do E85, it’s a pain. You lose 25-30% of your range, it’s not at every gas station so you may have to travel for it and you’ll need to test it to see if it’s really 70-85%. If you fill up and it says 130 miles to empty, you’ll get 100 maybe. You can’t go back and forth from pump to E85 like the flex cars. Stay on pump gas. After 650hp, that’s when you move to E85 when you have a blower or turbo and a fuel system. My car even has the stock resonator and stock cat back system. Had the MBRP crap, loud doesn’t mean you have a fast car. My car is quiet and makes 800. If you’re going to supercharge or turbo this car, don’t buy anymore engine bolts on or waste money on a tune. I’d suggest replacing the suspension. Springs, struts, shocks, sway bars, caster / camber plates, driveshaft, etc. Dial that in for when you get the blower or turbo.
