I press the L button, his speed goes from 40 to 39 instead of 40 to 38. Any suggestions on how to get mario's speed to 40-38-36-etc?

I’m mostly curious about the enemies. As of now, I have determined that the only palettes that there are are the goomba, green koopa, red koopa, Piranha Plants, boomerang bro, and spiky palette.
Were there any others that I missed?

this is harder than the original Kiazo World actually, and most of the early kiazo hacks there are some nowadays that are much harder than this but for it's time this was one of the hardest.
