Hey Phlinger, great vid! I just wanted you to know about the globes before the boss room. In order the globes are Pangea, the continent that earth was before it was split when dinosaurs existed, the holograms opposite represent the inhabitants of that world. The next is current earth (not modified, it's a perfect modern map), and shows Humans as the currant inhabitants and the third globe is what we would consider the future and the hologram represents death, which is reflected in extinction where you see the fate of earths future. Thought you would enjoy this a little bit! I found it really cool.
Great job, the hardest thing about the tek cave for me is just getting all your dinos through the door in time. Allos and theris certainly help, rex's are a pain.

wow so i have not watched much Boss fights, I am so far primitive in my Ark experience. I just recently made some of the Pokie cubes, for the first time (very handy) and i have only done 2 caves on The Island. It was a headache just navigating 2 Sabertooths and a Raptor in the cave. one would think why can't they make the Dinos smart enough to get in and out of water and turn sharp corners. So when i saw this i just had to watch to see how you were going to move an Army like that. Now i see exactly why you had an Army in the first place. This was a fun watch and i always enjoy listening to you Mr. Phoo. Salute!
I still remember when my wife and I took our Rex army into the Overseer after a year of playing our save. We goofed and didn't realize not using cryos meant not being able to toss out dinos either, so it was just us on two Rexs, and then after an hour of sprinting through the cave and beating the overseer (yes, I despawned dinos in the cave but we did the boss legit), we watched the whole cutscene and.... the game completely deleted our character data.
We quit for several months afterwards, it was so damn depressing.
Must have been boosted and on gamma cause I recently redid the island with my friend on gamma and we had 5 rexes left at the overseer (we started with 7, but 2 fell in the lava) and not any rexes, strong ones, fully imprinted with 5hp and 5melee mutations and 3 of them died to the overseer so only 2 rexes are not enough to do this boss
@@s8theninjawarrior916 Yes it was boosted, why does that even remotely matter? The point of my comment was that watching the entire cutscene deleted our characters and we effectively lost our save.

Did a testrun in single player yesterday and friggin microraptors didn't give me a break, I hate them.
Thanks for all the gameplay knowledge. Been watching this season again during my own play through. First time against overseer coming up and i feel prepared after studying your videos. Keep it up and eagerly awaiting the rest of season 6.
SO Cool! I think I've watched just about all of your Video's and they Just keep getting better and Better. Even managed to learn enough to beat a couple caves and get ready for my first Boss fight along the way. Thank you, and Great job!!!

I fuckin LOVE this!! Absolute gold since my noob ass has not beaten Ark before. I have a few questions for you Phling if you ever read this.
Phlinger the first thing is actually Pangea, Pangea is like one continent in earth in the beginning n that's were dinosaurs lived, the second is modern day earth were humans lived then the last is extinction so basically corrupted earth. n of course the arks around earth which r scorched n island, aberration is one ark floating higher than the others. island n scorched have multiple arks that r identical yeah so nice job on the overseer :)
Is there a reason you didn't ride Screech? Because earlier you said (I believe it was the basic video about Yutyrannus) autocourage doesnt work good enough

1 or 2 124 armor saddled 33k hp 2300m gigas to clear the cave (maybe with a friend) and 19 51k hp 2900m with 124 armor saddle rexs with a yuty with 6k stamina and 30k hp with a 124 armor saddle once you get to the teleporter. Watch out for centipedes in the cave (it can kill your giga even with the 124 saddles). Throw the Rexs off the cliff where you are looking straight at the see through tek door (so you don’t have to walk your army through the whole cave). This is how we do it on official.
Lol I beat the Tek cave the 1st time cuz the ppl needed a guy to guide the dinos inside. I lost one rex in the lava, but I saved him. I kept the dinos on the boss while they Farmd element xD, so I guess it worked out to everyone's benefit.
First time watcher. Found this video in a search. Question. The tek cave usually has a 60 min timer? How did you disable that? Good video. I got a couple useful tips.

I noticed the Thyla in the video (partially bc you mentioned it).... Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought Thyla's weren't allowed in the cave....did I miss something?
I'm guessing allo's love to skinny dip in lava.
When I watched season 4, I didn’t care about the Overseer because I was new to the game and didn’t get why it was a big deal. Now, in season 5, I’ve felt the anticipation building for weeks, just waiting to see Phlinger and his army take on the fight of their lives.

I did this on split screen with my friend on Xbox one, the overseer fight almost crashed my Xbox and we could only have one person at a time looking at the overseer or else the frames would’ve made my Xbox explode 😭 by the way I love your videos and look forward to every single one 💞 always drink my coffee and watch you! ☕️🦖
They should stop making this consoles or at least gsmes that consoles cant handle
@@zbychulatara totally agree. Whenever I watch people play PC ARK I’m like dang, can’t believe how much more smooth it runs. ARK was made just for PC players in mind, not Xbox. When I play split screen I have to stay tethered to the host and can’t go farther than 400 meters away from the host. Right now I’m playing on aberration map split screen and because each biome acts as a cave in aberration, I have to deal with tether even when I’m right next to the host. Pretty annoying! Wish they would make Xbox ark less broken but I love the game too much to stop playing it.
@@lexifarore ark was not just built for pc players in mind. its just that consoles sucks (with their performance) compared to the best pc and laptops. also ark is not greatly optimized

Can one not just walk into the tek cave with all of these dinos in cryopods?
I am wondering if that's possible as well, would be easier to walk inside the cave with a Giga and then unpod everything on the terminal

I would love to do this but managing all those dinos in solo just does not seem to be worth it. I killed beta dragon and lost half of my rexes to the lava instead of the boss. Can't imagine what it would be like in the tek cave. :D Gj to everyone who has the patience to do this.

I'm curious, when you explain your process of the front line force and the wagon train and how you have to bring everybody down there, can you just cryo orb most of your tames in order to bring them along without having to so arduously handle the wagon train?
This might seem like a silly question and probably paints me as a noob. I'm just now getting back into the game again after about a year away from it. And on my first playthrough I only ever did the overseer once. So I might be forgetting something vital to this question.

Well that 1 allo commiting suicide before getting to the oversear fight just wanted to rain on the mood by saying "we're all gonna die, so screw you guys im exiting stage right. *sizzling sounds with a scream* WRONG WAY OR AS I WAS TOLD WRONG BUTTON." and that was all the allo could say before he or she died in the lava stupid raptors or in this case stupid allo you should of stayed still

I did, but I cut it for time. I cryo'd the Thyla on the upload terminal.

Hey I got a question could you bring rexes in the fight and if you can what do the stats have to be and I have primitive saddles fighting gamma
yes you can bring them but .for this boss fight I prefer theriz or shadowmanes. they can catch to the overseer easily while the rex is bulky and has trash turning raduis ,can't turn fast enough to keep up, so the rex is best for other bosses.

How do u know so quickly if a tamed creature stats are good? Maybe a basics video for recognizing good stats?

On his rates every dino have good enough stats. U dont need to worry about 1khp less or more when 200lvls allos are able to beat alpha tek cave

About an hour if everything goes well, which it won't.
Is this "single player" enabled? Just wondering if it's not, do you have the timer? I play single player, but with official settings and not "Single Player" enabled.
He does not have single player enabled. You can see his settings in his Coffee Time videos. He put out a new one not long after this.

Way better to uncryo a giga for yourself at the start, kills all things in a few bites
It is a shame you can't take thyla's into boss fights.
thylas are stronger than allos but weaker than theriz in boss fight (if they can enter it)

Disagree, even if it was 2hrs, i would have watched it all.. Prefer to see more of the prep and the work done... Esp if you're already doing the work... Might as well get the extra money from YT for it.
