The script 🔥. Benon really paid attention in Primary school; the story of “No honor among thieves”. The Actors too 🔥🔥. I think swangz should start producing series now. I’m so impressed with the camera angles and visual effects. Kudos to Swangz and Bennon
OMG this the best realistic Ugandan movie I have ever seen on the internet. Thanks swangz Avenue

For beginners it's ok
The actors...well...not so good but the rest do tick all the boxes.
Well said I didn't find it interesting being a long time ago scripture
Eehh on rewatching it I realized the greedy guy was earlier craving for a Rolex and he was warned that it could kill him one day. Unfortunately he didn't remember that
I also realized after rewatching!
If we go on like this, i swear we'll have more locally made movies watched here than those from external movie industries 🔥
Am impressed this is what should be showed on pearl magic
Maa Men am a Kenyan can't understand the language but I feel like I have understood everything third time watching ROLEX ya Mayai tatu
Who else thinks Swangs should start producing movies at a large scale?
Of course.
Woooow i think if we involved willing music Artists in such movies we would get some more market for em...jus a suggestion 🙃
Great work Benon and Swangz Avenue team - nice to see Uganda film come of age!
Perfect..
I would go to a cinema hall to watch this movie..I would also love to tag the president of Ug to direct MoH to transfers all COVID-19 funds to make a complete long script. WE Dont need Posho & Beans. We need a Rolex.
Swangz we need subtitles on here this has to go global!
Loved the detailed part of making a rolex...

HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE KONKO BANANGYE. NICE PIECE OF WORK. AYI BAAAAAAAAAAMBE.
Before I even start watching it past 1 minute, I like it already.
Why?
The set up. The filming is quite nice.
That's Uganda yet somehow you made it look beautiful. The music is Ugandan.
They are speaking Luganda (any other Ugandan languange would also be good), makes it authentic.
Nice! Nice! Good work ppl👏👏
Morale of the story (Don't steal and eat rolex)
kenzo is this guy who says a and later says z oh oh
Act yours and put in other languages silly
So cool. I love the story line. 👏🏾👍🏾

Go Boxa aka Yusuf Kaija,,, the best is yet to come! Great stuff all around @Swangz Avenue
This was an amazing short film that I'll be sharing with my friends. The Ugandan film industry has come from far and I'm happy that there's a lot of support coming from my fellow countrymen. Let's keep being patriotic and supportive of filmmakers like these and who knows Wakaliwood could be the future Hollywood.
I loved it. Benon, thank you.
Picture perfect, sounds great and the script is realistic great job Swangz avenue

Ps: I am saying Uganda is not beautiful.
I am just saying we may not have a well set up planning (esp. the first rolex part, ka urban center) but these guys still make it beautiful.

*MY OPINION AS A FILM STUDENT.*
Love the way you revealed the betrayal without dialogues,(ie, the dividing of the four portions of money into the two betrayers using a machete) , The establishment scene of the film showing prostitutes on the streets revealed a spoilt world too telling us what the film is about, (ie, sinning of course) nice craft, Love the warm tone coloring too, #UG_FILMS_TO_THE_WORLD 📽🎬
Mac Peterson true and I loved it too
Why do you love warm tone coloring? A general question am asking as am interested in the aesthetics.
#Joan, i loved that warm tone coloring because it kinda brings up that feeling of being in Africa (ie, most African countries have warm/hot temperatures due do the heat produced from the sun regardless of day or night though some teal was introduced at the scene where the thieves threw poisoned meat to the dog and they broke in, that really introduced fear), but the warm tone coloring really complements our dark skin tones hence the film look, it makes you really feel that you are watching something from Africa, and by the way, it kinda makes the viewer to feel comfortable watching it because it is appealing to the eyes too, #MyOpinion 📽🎬
@@BOYSTV256 If I wasn't Ugandan/African I'd not view it that way. Good short film for a start though the characters are shallow(no back story to them) for me as a viewer to invest more time in them and to ultimately connect emotionally. Who are they?, Why are they doing it?, How do they connect to each other?
Also the story is easy/narrative. The writer/director makes it too easy for the characters to achieve their goals.
Back to your point, warm colors make it comfortable for you as a viewer yet cooler colors would have made it more intense for the viewer. The story is dark. Lighting can be better. Sound even though good it's too much in some parts. Less can be more intense to allow us connect to their mental state.
Commendable job for the team. Congs to the team.
Anyway, you are right, the characters are shallow and the writer also makes it very easy for them to achieve their goals, but about the creation of intensity using cooler colors was used at the scene when the robbers broke into the premises, that scene was intense, thats why i think the colorist introduced teal into the scene, you can even see that on the way the boss was lighted and colored in some car scenes (ie, when they parked to pick the shop keeper guy and when he was poisoning the meat) , he looked determined and serious with the cooler tones, anyway intensity in the film i think it was created when they cut short clips at the beginning of the film and use of the handheld camera in some parts, credit to the D.O.P #MyOpinion 📽🎬
Wow this is really cool,I love it reality part, that's the life we live in
I hate the violence. That's not something to be celebrated.
On a positive note, I looooove the whole production and the Ugandanness.
I hope you guys go forward with this.
But you love the violence in American movies. Learn to support your own🤡
@@FalconEcho violence is violence. Not to be celebrated. Malayo statement yange Ssebo. There's a lot of love in there
