Did it feel a little like cheating to pick something that already has a prominent piano section in the original? I was curious to see how you would work with all the empty space this song has for where the percussion goes bananas. Beautifully done as always.
Actually, funny enough, it's often MORE of a challenge to arrange a song with an already prominent piano part as it means that the original already has two hands that are quite busy with musical material! Trying to therefore add in even more layers can greatly add to the overall difficulty, especially in trying to avoid things sounding too muddy. I picked this piece solely because it's one of my Zappa favorites and I like to also send people toward the original recordings, not just to listen to my transcriptions - although I do really miss all of the delicious percussion (one of the elements I love so much about this particular piece)
You certainly have an eye (or ear) for underrated Zappa tunes. And one of my favorites too, beautiful rendition as always!

You rock.
Great job! It would be such a joy to hear you play Peaches en Regalia off of the same album :)
I must say it sounds like you have three hands. (Wow)
Beautiful!
Thank you!
Good job 👌👍
