If anyone’s curious on why eyes are shaking so much, it’s a medical condition I have. Long story short, my pupils shake a lot when I’m tired because my eye muscles are very weak. And yesterday after a 14hr long busy day I was absolutely Zoinked!

My theory is that skong is a sequel, for a decent reason with only two flaws; hornets tools. if she gets so many new and powerful tools like shown in the trailers why doesnt she have them in hallownest? why wouldnt she bring them to greenpath and kingdoms edge to fight the player vessel? because its a sequel to hollow knight! all that happened after the original... a few things that could counter this theory is that 1. hornet doesnt want to fully lash out at the player considering their progression, or 2. there's some kind of rule that doesnt allow you to bring tools from different kingdoms to hallownest. but if there arent this could be a solid solution.

The reason Silksong is taking so long is that it will have mister mushroom in it and mister mushroom flies off to space at the end of hollow knight. Therefore Pharloom is in space and team cherry is taking a long time recreating the entire observable universe in Silksong

I believe the reason silksong isn't released is because of primacon turning the name into "Milksong", implying it is dad's duty to come back with it, not team cherry..
Thus, concluded that team cherry is waiting for dad to come back home with silksong..

I love how team cherry has done the lore for these games. We can speculate so many things with what we have and with not much info on the skong, i am even more excited for it.

Silksong has to be a sequel the time line around the Weavers make a prequel impossible. Also this quotes from Ari make much more sense if you treat Silksong as a sequel “Part of what Hornet’s doing is she’s lost her traditional strength… and the Weavers, or what’s left of them, are helping her restore it.”

You do kinda milk silksong, but for a good reason.
Also it's probably a prequel. Because in one ending hornet is dead, and TC confirmed that none of the endings are canon and are all up to player's interpretation
Branching timelines are a thing that exist to allow conflicting sources of information to share honesty in a story without breaking narrative logic.
We were given permission to choose our preferred ending, and it has been stated that all HK endings are equally canon.
I see no problem with it being a sequel, even if I do prefer the idea of it being a prequel.
They confirmed that a while ago. Things can change. The real ending is likely the normal radiance one. Silksong is 100% a sequel. Confirmed.

Dude, after beating the fifth pantheon, you see the infection disappear and Hornet get captured. Silksong starts with her captured and escaping… it’s a sequel.

Back when Team Cherry was active they made a post on Reddit "We're Team Cherry and we just released Hollow Knight on Nintendo Switch! Ask us anything!" where they decided to answer the question of the community back in 2018 when SilkSong was not a thing yet, one person asked " I don't know if you've been asked this, but if you were to make a "Hollow Knight 2" What would it most likely be about?" and William said this "Oh man, we have the best idea for Hollow Knight 2. I was just thinking about it the other day. We'll share some more info about it in ten years" don't know if this Hollow Knight 2 is still a thing or if that became SilkSong but what is funny is that 2028 doesn't look like a wrong time window, after SilkSong they will probably work on that "Fearless Fox" game they mentioned and that they trademarked already so who knows if that "To be Continued" will only get "continued" in 203X.
I feel mister mushroom wouldnt be bound by a linear timeline like that, i think that they'd know all the endings, and know how hallownest looked in each state, no matter where HK:SS takes place with respect to HK
The only silksong mystery I'm aware of is whether or not Primacon is actually on drugs because this level of focus towards creating content is only available through copium or pure, unadulterated methamphetamine.

a funny idea i like to think is, that mr mushroom is probably communicating through all the dimensions, timelines, games hes in. so even if we see him in pharloom, and theres something to collect to communicate with him. hes still going to be saying completely non-sense cause of the hive mind having potentially multiple conversations at once. he must be a Fun-Guy! sorry, bad joke.

Considering Mr. Mushroom already has broken the fourth wall by speaking directly to the Knight in Hungry Knight, we genuinely don't know what their limits are.
Could even appear in that other, non HK related game Team Cherry has lightly teased us with to begin development after Silksong.
We don't even know if Mr. Mushroom will appear again in the first place.
Could even be Ms. Mushroom, or some other hypothetical fourth wall breaking fungi we don't know about.
If we're being honest here, we don't even know what that "To Be Continued" is referring to between Hollow Knight's timelines or Mr. Mushroom's chronology.
Too little information to form *any* assumptions, beyond the idea that Mr. Mushroom is teasing both past and future Team Cherry games.
As an aside, I hope Team Cherry takes the break they deserve after Silksong's finished development before beginning work on that game.
