Mini garbage trucks are so impressive with how much they can handle , I've seen many videos of mini rear loaders emptying at a transfer station and it's crazy how much comes out when the operator activates the ejection blade.

Notify the owners that you will not pick up overflowing dumpsters and.....the ground (blacktop/ concrete) must be smoth enough for one person to roll the dumpster out. You shouldnt have to bust your ass to get it out of the enclosure. Its clearly because the wheels are getting stuck in the holes in the blacktop.

The management should do 2 a week or more week pick ups and make bigger enclosure for 2 dumpsters or get a bigger dumpster size.

A trick you could have used to get the wooden cabinet into the hopper where the blade packer would smash it into matchsticks is to use the other garbage to roll it up onto it. I've lifted wooden furniture and that could easily have made it's way into the hopper with a few smart rolls onto garbage. Work smarter, not harder. Good job nonetheless. Garbage truck operators tend to work in pairs, I'm surprised you didn't have a coworker come out and help. Two garbage workers would easily have handled the cabinet at the very least. If you had a hammer, or anything good for breaking up wood, would also have been handy to break the cabinet into more manageable pieces.

It looks like it's out far enough so the other driver can take one of his forks and pull it out.

A rear load with no over head cable?? First I've seen of that. Up here in vermont our trucks have it. Slide cable thru the pocket it. Hook together and it's out in a heart beat. We do it all the time.

I know it would probably take a long time, but maybe you could have unloaded the dumpster some by hand to make it lighter.

Incredible the lack of awareness again by people just throwing everything away as trash. Good work my man.
Edit: You guys should fine locations that throw away perfectly good bikes and mix recyclables. Just donate and recycle and you'd have less work!

What are people supposed to do with their trash if the dumpster is full? Keep it in their house? This is a management problem. Not a tenant problem.
