Reds playing some good running rugby. Also getting troops back in Jc and McDermott. Just need to improve in defence.

6 tries in 3 games! The junk yard dog does it again!

12 rounds into the tournament and the crowds are still near-empty.
    The code is dead.

      @@JayDDeeee What?
I'm here because I like rugby.
It's obviously in a sorry state though.
Far fewer people are watching it, far fewer people are playing it.
The game has been mismanaged at every turn for the last couple of decades, especially in Australia.
The only place it still thrives is in Europe.

Even if the reds dominated the rest of the season and took out the championship. I'd be hard pressed to follow because NRL is so much more exciting. But watching the last two reds games they played clean fast rugby which was a change. no team in the sport can go 10 passes without knocking on it's so sad to watch.

@@Bobbyblack6 NRL is pretty much a better code in every way at this point.
more simple and refined (understandable) set of rules, smaller teams are easier to manage (and pay), better crowds, better media coverage, state of origin rivalry is so good, better scoring system, better refereeing and judiciary.
It's sad how badly rugby has been operating in comparison.

@@Waywind420 Wrong. Very wrong. Game has never been stronger in Europe (ex England), Japan, Georgia, Argentina, and Fiji, the sevens circuit in Africa and Asia gets crazy views and attendance and is growing, The American competition is growing each year, especially at the colleagiate level. Game is healthy everywhere except Aus and NZ because those teams are playing below fan expectations and Aus fans in particular cant handle their teams (esp the Wallabies) losing when they can go watch league and the team never loses - because even a garbage team plays 26 games a season and wins 10.

What's with all the empty seats? Does no one watch rugby anymore?

Rugby is dying faster than the A-League, it’s a sad state to see. The wallabies not having any success on the world stage for a long time + lack of grassroots development is killing the game slowly.

Rugby's dead in Australia. If we win a Bledisloe again it might start back up but that's it's only hope.

The first 4 tries are the reason I gave my Waratahs season ticket away years ago. It’s as boring as bat sh!t
