Thank you Peggy. I well remember Margaret Barry's "I heaved a sigh and I said goodbye to the hills of Donegal". When I lived in Austin, Jack Elliott slept on our couch and we had to evict him. Later in SF he tried it again. He was a good singer, but his people skills were lacking. I'll never forget yours and Ewan's kindness to me in Berkeley when I bugged Ewan to sing either Sheath & Knife or Hind Horn when he had a nasty cold. He sang it with one of your sons, forgot which one. At one point you wrote the words and tune for me to The Daemon Lover on a cocktail napkin at the Great American Music Hall in SF and saved us seats as we were stuck in a long line to get in,. We hadn't asked you so I thought that was really nice. I love everything you do and I love that you are sharing your decades of experience with us. I dont use the cloud, but I am streaming
wonderful stuff like this on CZcams and I am grateful for it. Oakland CA 2024

Hello Sandra: what a nice thoughtful post. Many folksingers lacked people skills ... the lifestyle kind of led to that. Now the Great American Music Hall in SF...! Wonderful place to be and sing. We loved it. Also: it shares with the Chicago Gate of Horn the medal for the best hamburgers ever. Thanks again ... memories need refreshing.

Still beyond her years at the ripe age of 86. Nothing but love and respect for this woman!
