I have purchased a UJV100, I understand it can only do two layers....so because the machine does not do a material drawback...I’m told that if you print white underneath a cmyk layer...you cannot then manually Re register that material to print a varnish over in a second separate pass? Or is there a way?

Having trouble with printing red/magenta also perfectly. It comes out red orange & my burgundy comes out brown. All the other colours print just fine. Had to overprint to get the red. That is ink & time, money.

Why is it magenta gives so much problems, every 3months it stops working, 4th head replacement and 1 sub ink tank, the other colours are fine, the nozzles are clean. After 2 hard cleans it does show, but drops away after 300mm feed print. What the hell is it then. It costs so much ink and money. If it was a total head failure, why are the other colours working. Does someone have a answer, because they do not.
I think their magenta have a different viscosity than CYK. The same case to their bs3 and bs4 ink.

Ujv 100 have lots of problem with magenta, head replaced twice in less then 6 month
My Mimaki is a piece of crap that hasn't worked or made money since I got it in Nov 2021 UJV 100-160 wish I would have got the canon. My service tech just left this week and my machine is still broken and nobody will call me back. I'm waiting to see how great this machine is frustrating
