I really hope they both become better people. I want Blitzo to be a better dad (he's definitely trying his hardest, but he's kind of out of his depth), and I also really hope Loona becomes a more open individual.

In my head cannon, Loona really is Blitzo's daughter, she just has altered memories after being treated for amnesia. Then the big reveal comes when sprouts horns.
Somehow, that is a theory I have too. Like, maybe not EXACTLY like that, but I somehow suspect that Loona really IS Blitzo's daughter, but either she has forgotten it for whatever reason (my theory is that Blitzo willingly caused her amnesia and then told her some adoption story stuff so that she wouldn't grow too attached to him, so that if he died, she wouldn't feel as bad), or maybe Blitzo was just an absentee dad for a majority of her life, and decided he wanted to be there for her when it was a bit too late.

I suppose she has to wait until they write that part about her character out completely for the series proper.

@@BlackSoul4876 Because, she feels pretty different in the pilot, when compared to how she's portrayed in the show.
@@goodmachines7743 Yes, but that’s meant to be expected of a show’s pilot isn’t it? It’s basically an introduction, or prologue if you prefer, to a series that may end up changing certain aspects over time than what we initially saw.
@@BlackSoul4876 Oh yes, that's what I mean. A pilot is basically advertisement, to see just how many people are interested in seeing more episodes, as well as a way to set up characters, relations, premise, conflict, etc.
And yeah, there's a lot of differences, most notably the fact that they sort of did away with the 'sketch cutaway'-format and the fact that they gave Loona a more mellowed out and secretly kind side, as well as turning Moxxie from the most outspoken character into more of the frustrated, borderline brown-nosing, yet still professional doormat.
It's all done so that they all have character arcs that eventually will evolve and intersect along with the story.
