- Hello everyone.
so in this video, I venture to camp 4 on the downs, a high camp ,to take advantage of the setting sun and cool breeze on a hot day that blows through here .
I was joined on this camp by my son in law Pete, who I made sure was of the camera , I invited Pete so he could test out his newly acquired pack, and he was extremely happy with it, he and I was here for one thing , a wildcamp and a great time we had ,Pete in his tent me in my bivi bag which was just the job on a warm night.
We had a little fire to enjoy in the firebowl, all in all a great arrived late left early, wild camp.
hope you enjoy the video..

Good afternoon Joe nice to see you back doing your wild camping very enjoyable looking forward to the next one.
Afternoon Craig. Glad you enjoyed it. Bit more options to choose from this time.. thank you for watching.
Great to see you back out having fun in the woods. More to follow I hope. All the best Pete 👍⛺️
Hello Pete. Yes, more to follow . Slowly digging all my kit out ..
I just love the simplicity Joe. Your cook system is so innovative that I may have to copy it 👍
Great to see you out again. Cheers.
Hello Matt. I've had this set up for years , I think if I remember I got the steamer from aldi and the grill on fleabay , I don't think I paid a tenner for the lot..
Thank you for taking us along, Joe. Cheers.
Cheers for watching 👀 👍
Nice simple camp Joe, sometimes there the best. Food looked good as always mate, good to see you out again bud. Big thumbs up.
Regards
Moose
Was a good chilled camp and with the son in law for company.. the food was a faf , I don't like faf although very nice indeed. open a tin bung it in , that's my camp food lol. 😋
Good one, Joe. I'm a fan of your cook system. Works brilliantly and it's cheap. Cheers.
Had this set for years, I think the steamer cost 3 quid and the grill 6 quid on fleabay. It's a good little set. Although I do prefer my large wood stove.
Thanks for sharing Joe, great to see you out again and it's good to know that even with a friend along its possible to pull together a video. Great food prep. Stay well. Harry. Out
Good evening, Harry. Yes It was my son in law, Pete. He just got himself a new pack and wanted to try it. Kid with a new toy 🙄
Very clean looking kit.
Thank you .. I'm one of the few that know how to use a tap . 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
It doesn't matter if you're from the north of Scotland or the south of Cornwall, the British Empire was built from a kettle first and foremost.
Nice to see you out on a camp Joe.
Yep . Totally agree, it's written in stone.
Always good to see you out Joe!
Thank you . It's always great to spend time on a wildcamp..
Welcome back joe your looking well
Hello Sir. Yes still about ( just) apart from arthritis in my left knee and left foot , deaf in my left ear, ( the right side of my body is ok) 🤣🤣. Still enjoy a camp though...
Thank you for watching.
That looked a nice chilled tarp and bivi camp Joe, food looked the biz too. Just what the doctor ordered ⛺️👍 atb Dave …ps hope you didn’t pee the vicar off 😂😂
I've had one run in with the vicar and he was , let's say a bit miffed , he suggested I park in the pub car park which I did after asking the landlord for permission, I have to walk back through the church, it's the route, I saw the vicar again and he said any luck , I said , ( and this is the best bit) yes thank you they were very Christian about it 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. He went inside the church , to preach about Christian morals 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.
Now I make sure I'm back at the car before 10..
@@notyouraveragejoe322 brilliant , he sounds like a right pr*#k . A right do gooder type 😂😂
Lovely vid. I’ve started using a Lanshan - I find I can use it as a tent or in hot weather as a bivi bag/groundsheet. But I do live the simplicity of the army bivi bag. I take it on day hikes as a seat mat and emergency shelter. Amazing kit.
Ps. FYI - Your coffee thing is in dollars. Not a problem, but it may convert to an odd amount of pounds.
I've had my Lanshan for years now , even got the T shaped zip winter inner, which just increases its use. This bivi bag is so much lighter than the olive green original, I've really never thought to take it along on a walk as a seat , think I shall start doing that , it's definitely light enough to not be a bother..
Thank you Steve . I did not realise, I've just changed it to £. And thank you very much .
Hope it's the start of summer Joe!
So do I, although a dodgy start this way 🤔
