Slater's Funfair, Kelso 2015 - 4K night video

Monopod and hand held rapid fire video documentary during the closing ten minutes of Slater's Funfair, which sadly shuts down at 10pm just as the light in summer fades enough for the fairground lights to have their best effect. The town really needs to allow this to open to 11pm or even 12pm to get the proper fairground atmosphere - at least on the Saturday night!

To get the best, use cinema mode and full screen. The video may appear blurred for a few seconds. It's not even showing at full res on my iMac 27. Today, we took a memory stick with an earlier 4K shoot to our daughter's where they have a 4K Panasonic TV, and the detail was simply amazing - also, the TV gamma is better suited to the video, and the night scenes show just that bit more detail. I only had a few minutes to film and these were all the last rides of the night, moving between them. The waltzer deserves a better camera position and could produce a spectacular result.

We get the same funfair where I live and we don't get as much as that there was two rides for the older people and they were the waltzer and the miami
