    Congress is meant to impeach and then convict a president. Both sides play politics and state judges and juries are not above being biased. So yeah Presidents need some level of immunity to protect them in and out of office, otherwise the hard decisions that are often needed won't happen.

    • @maxoblivion
      @maxoblivion Před 4 dny

      Presidents have been making hard decisions for 250 years without immunity. How do you explain that? 🤡

    • @daviddieben
      @daviddieben Před 4 dny

      @@maxoblivion Presidents have not had so many people in key areas of our political, justice system and media hate them so much before. In some state areas one party holds up 92% of the peoples vote. There will be a flow on effect in all key areas causing major basis against people on the other political side, there areas are effectively controlled by one party in all key areas from justice system to the media. 70% of the US believes the court cases against Trump are political motivated. So even if this is not true steps need to put in place to protect the image of the whole system. Congress is the most balanced place for a review and an investigation into a president should occur as it has the best chance of not being so biased.

      Absurd. Youre unhappy because they are ruling per the Constitution, not the outcome you want. Can you even relate their rationale for either Chevron or immunity? Those were both completely rational decisions; Chevron essentially demands that Congress - you know, the ONLY branch that holds the power to legislate - does its job instead of unelected bureaucrats creating laws themselves? Where its not to be found anywhere in the Constitution? And the immunity ruling is very centrist - it provides for SOME immunity but not complete.
      The left doesnt like the hammer on the Administrative State because its stocked with lifelong left-of-center bureaucrats and they use it to advance the power of the government.
