gabohusmann I changed mine at 120k, Purely as a precaution. For the money, an m6 V10 is the most fun you can have with your clothes on.
my dad is a single owner of one at 56k miles, only issues he had are with sensors so far.
@@gabohusmann Most predictable reply, there's always one tool like you who concentrates on a wear part of an F1 engine that you'll never need to replace because you don't even own one lol.
Just be grateful an amazing car like this has been created instead of focusing on an overblown issue.

My son has a '07 M6, he had a Eisenmann sport exhaust system installed last year. Man what a wicked sound, that V10 under the hood hooked up w/that exhaust turns heads when passes thru town. Still plans on doing some more upgrades.
So I'm guessing this was in a closed course somewhere in Mexico

Good god the sound of that. I love BMW's. That car with a 6 speed manual and that exhaust. I can double clutch it all day to hear that sound....that's the sound of pure engine...no forced induction needed.

@@DtRockstar1 The driving experience exceeds my expectations. I knew I would love the engine but I thought the SMG trans and the rest of the car wouldn't hold up. I was wrong. I picked mine up for $11k, and it needs a little work, but it came on BC coilovers and has the AP racing exhaust. I am just going to do all the preventative stuff, and I am also cleaning up some cosmetic stuff. Your car is one of my favorite sounding cars of all time, and it is so great that I can just go outside and hear something like that in person whenever I want now. Additionally, the tires that came on it are shot, so its sort of a blast to do rolling burnouts everywhere. I'll be sorting that soon though.

after so many years, i still love this car. i´ve seen tons and tons of M5/M6 V10 here in South Germany, but this is still one of my dream cars !! absolutly fantastic design, lovely colour and the sound is just insane. really really cool video, definitly one of your best until now. big thumbs up, and thank you for uploading it, it was so much fun to watch it :-)

AGENT47ist lol thats cute... in norway you have to pay 200 dollars per horsepower in tax...... plus what the car costs if you want it registered :( and if you are lucky and dont get tax you still have to pay about 105k$+ for the car :'(

what is with the bottle, first 0:03 seconds is just a bottle falling into the garage? I don't know why, it cracked me up though. This thing sounds mean as hell, I'd love to swap this motor into a FD RX7 or maybe an RX8 since they are so damn cheap and being sold as paperweights.
This and the Lambo V10's are THE greatest V10 exhaust notes to ever exist. Deep and guttural. The LFA on the other hand, though it sounds fine, it is a bit higher pitched, and more shrill. To each his own. Just heavenly.

I must say thanks to god that I also own a coupe version DINAN red with blk interior carbon fiber trim. Dee best car I ever own and I can walk around some big name super cars out there . OMG WHAT A SOUND :D !. We just straight piped our E36 V8 drift missile but it is waaaaay too loud and savage lol. We got a one peace pipe professionally bent for $40 so no welds, no clamps, its beautiful but still not sure if we want to keep it that way as its too much cop attention. We will put a video up in a few days on that so you can check it out and see what i mean. In any case awesome video! love the straight pipe sounds :D

I saw an M5 at a cheap auction site a few years ago and thought what da fuck is that thing with its sensible 4 door family looking car that had a look about it that grabbed my attention enough to google this sleeper car and found out its specs of having a v10.... I then thought, i must have one of these unique cars in my life one day and this video was the video i played to my mates and said one day It will be mine!!... When i look back I was oblivious to the fact that owed so much coin to the fucking tax dept it wasn't funny, I rightly or wrongly bought a black m6 nearly 3 years ago. Suffice to say, when i climb into this this thing, the whoo hoo factor as heard in this video is real. Could've bought a brand new Toyota Hilux like everyone else for the the same money, but when the first thing you do when get in, is to push the M button, there is no going back. Is it expensive to maintain? Not yet but who gives a fuck. Its the cheapest supercar I'll ever own. Judging by my tax bill, It'll be the only one! No regrets...
