- Working your way through the Double Digit Kyu ranks in Go can be tough! But with a few fundamental principles, you can do it! In this game the key was to keep your eye on what is big, and never to forget opening theory.

Thank you for this ddk series. I have been playing for a while and have always been pretty mediocre. Seeing how to play simply like this at my level really helps.
Hope it helps! Can look forward to another next week.
"You need help too." *Cries in 15K.* Thank you... *sniff*
Very late to the party, but got some catch-up to do!
Nice change of pace, and I actually really liked not seeing the names - never know if the oponent would be happy being on youtube :-)
What drama
Hi, I'm back in studying the game of Go again.
Always a pleasure to watch your gameplay.
Thank you so much
Dwyrin, you are loved. Thank you!
Very inspiring to see how much I can improve by working on my basics. Thank you for your DDK pep talk!
13kyu here, this game was helpful!
We all love your content Dwyrin! Never stop
Just a slight correction, you mean dopamine, not endorphine. Endorphine gets released in response to pain & stress, dopamine is all about expectation and reward. Thank you for the video. I always look forward to your ddk (or ddk accessible) videos.
Thanks Dwyrin! Very helpful
Love you man! Keep it up!
Really helpful as always! Thanks!
i like the influence visual 😂
Very good video for this level and a little lower. Worth careful studY!
Hey I just want to say that I really enjoyed this video. I'm sorry reddit was so rough earlier this week - but even with that crap-fest, you continue to put out great content. Thanks so much for your work!
Kicks ARE attachments. We respond to 1. attachments, 2. shoulder hits, 3. caps, and the 4. you always forget is peeps. :)
That literally spells out CAPS 😅 should be easier to remember like that :)
@@adhdtravels01Wow. Indeed. Easy to remember.
We respond to
C aps
A ttachments
P eeps
S houlder hits
This kind of ddk more passive play might be expained by determination to not lose a single stone
nice
Will you ever make an actual beginner tutorial with the game rules and absolute fundamentals? 🙃
At 5:28, Isn't the kick joseki in the upper right corner supposed to end with black taking an extension somewhere around k17. Or is it just pure sente to do something else?
Joseki ends as is. The extend is a nice follow up but not required.
@@dwyrin Instead of White J17, if White played R17, how should Black respond? Q17 S15 R16 S16 and Black has Sente? and can play K16 or something? Or after White R17 with the invasion, should Black play R16 and make it difficult to live? Sometimes moves like R17 or random invasions early confuse me. Especially since Black already spent a few moves securing the corner, yet it's not truly secured yet or there's some vulnerabilities somehow. Do you have any videos on corner invasions or invading in particular?
At the end of the game, is O7 still a weak point? N7 and L7 can be cut.

Dwyrin playing an 11k is like Tyson boxing a kindergardner.
