You will usually see the price of the fakes is considerably cheaper than the Forge part and it will not display any logos in the product imagery. You've upgraded an old part... That alone is worth it... If this indeed lifts restriction on the turbo, specifically to its effectiveness by it make it breathe better then I might do this... Need to do more research. In regard to durability and longevity. A lot of people have blown their turbos. How is it holding up?
I see no downside to upgrading this part until now.

How about your intake, inlet and filter... Kept those standard or did/will you upgrade?...
They are standard. I am thinking to upgrade te intercooler one day. But the filter I will keep standard and change it often. In my country there is a lot of dust on the roads, so a sport filter would take life out of my engine. But I would love to hear the turbo more...sadly...I can't.
I put mine without the o ring because it ripped, is that okay?

Salut. Nu stiu sigur, dar nu cred. 2.0tdi nu pare sa aiba piesa asta. Are ceva muffler, dar de cu totul alta forma si nu gasesc nici un inlocuitor aftermarket.

M-am gandit, dar am renuntat. Exista riscul sa afectezi motorul in mod negativ, pentru ca nu a fost gandit cu eliminarea aerului direct in exterior.
Dar ce face piesa asta?
Lasa aerul sa iese mai usor din turbo si face putin mai mult zgomot. In realitate nu prea ajuta la nimic :))

@@cristiroland nu stiu ce sa zic. Mie mi se pare ca nu. Din ce vad in poze pe net turbo la tdi are alt fel de muffler, deci nu cred sa mearga.
